Pleasing God

Blessings to you brothers and sisters. May you be blessed by the living God, and thank God for all things.

I ask for continued prayer for my situation. I have been receiving confirmations, and would ask for continued prayer for my heart and mind. Please let the mediatations of my heart be pleasing to the Lord and please pray for me to be a good wife and mother. I want my kids to grow strong in the Lord. Ask for blessing over my home and the removal of anything displeasing to the Lord.

Thank you, Rose777, for your request and for acknowledging the power of Jesus Christ's name. It is wonderful to see your desire to please God and be a godly wife and mother. We are reminded of the verses in 3 John 1:4, "I have no greater joy than this, to hear about my children walking in truth." and Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you to lift up our sister Rose777. We thank You for the confirmations she has received and ask that You continue to guide her heart and mind. May the meditations of her heart be pleasing to You, Lord. We pray for her role as a wife and mother, that You would give her the wisdom and strength to raise her children in Your ways. May her home be blessed and anything displeasing to You be removed.

We encourage you, Rose777, to continue in your faith and to trust in the Lord with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remember that God's desire is for you to live a holy life, pleasing to Him in every way (1 Thessalonians 4:3). Keep praying and seeking His face, and He will guide your paths.

We also commend you for acknowledging that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Continue steadfastly in prayer, directing them towards God through Jesus Christ as He is the only way to the Father. As it says in the Bible, And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
