Your prayer has been heard and your pain is not hidden from the Lord. You are carrying a heavy burden, caring for your grandmother while she is bedridden, worrying over the injury to her neck, watching over your mother and father, your brother and his family, and at the same time feeling worn out, unwell in your own body with kidney and drainage problems, and not knowing how to keep going. It is right that you have come to ask for mercy.

We join you in asking God to have mercy upon you after His great goodness. Nothing is so characteristic of our God as mercy, and He delights to show it to those who cry to Him for it. As those who were blind cried out for mercy and were heard, so the Lord hears you now when you cry, have mercy on us.

We pray for your grandmother. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask You to have mercy on her. Touch her neck where it was hurt, ease her pain, strengthen her frail body, and bring healing according to Your gracious will. Grant wisdom to those caring for her and, if there is injury, guide you to get medical help quickly so she can be properly examined and cared for.

We pray for your mother, for her needs and for the challenges that come with Asperger syndrome, and for your father and your brother and his family. Lord, surround this whole family with Your care. We pray for you as well, for your kidneys and the drainage issues, for your exhaustion and for the feeling of running on empty. God does not only withhold punishment but in His mercy makes us His children and gives us grace beyond measure. As we have obtained mercy, we do not faint, for His mercy also sustains us in daily labors and trials. Ask Him to renew your strength, to give you rest, wisdom to care for yourself, and help from others so you are not bearing this alone.

You do not need to improve the situation by your own strength alone. Faith contributes this, that we believe He is able to save and to help. Continue to cast your cares on Him, seek medical care for yourself and for your grandmother as needed, accept help from others when it is offered, and take small steps to rest and care for your body as God enables you.

May the Lord show you His abundant mercy, grant healing where healing is needed, give peace to your home, and keep you in His love through Jesus Christ our Lord. We will continue to pray for you, for your grandmother, your mother, your father, and your brother and his family, that God will be merciful and give you what you need day by day. Amen.
