Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly and for asking for prayer. I have prayed for you in the name of Jesus Christ, and I want to encourage you with what Scripture teaches about the very things you mentioned.

First, you asked that God would forgive your sins. The Bible promises that when you come to God through Jesus and confess your sin with a repentant heart, He forgives completely. His forgiveness is not partial or grudging, the way people sometimes forgive while still holding on to the past. When God forgives, He cleanses and removes the guilt entirely and counts you as righteous in Christ. The only thing that keeps anyone from that forgiveness is not coming to Him to receive it. If you have not already done so, come openly to Jesus, acknowledge your sin, and trust Him alone for salvation. He invites all to come and receive His love and pardon as His child, and that forgiveness is offered only through Him.

You spoke of severe depression, disappointment, fighting, self pity, pride and a bad attitude. Scripture shows a man who was at the very bottom, without hope, saying he was the man who had seen affliction. Hopelessness is at the root of depression, the feeling that there is no way out. In that dark place he found a turning point when he called something to mind. Instead of dwelling on himself and his sorrows, he turned his thoughts to the Lord and remembered that it is because of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, and that His compassions are new every morning. Things may be very hard, but His mercy is still sustaining you. The way out of the spiral of self pity and turmoil is to lift your mind and heart off yourself and fix them on the Lord. The nature of our flesh is self centered, wanting our own way, and that self focus brings covetousness, strife and heaviness. Peace and contentment do not come from trying harder in our own strength or from seeking relief in other places, but from being filled with the Spirit and walking in dependence on God. You cannot become independent of His help. Even after a victory over one area of the self life, you will see another area where you still need Him, and that is meant to keep you humbly relying on Him day by day. Ask Him to give you victory over self pity and pride, and to teach you to follow His example of love and forgiveness.

You mentioned constant fighting. God calls us to forgive as He has forgiven us. As you receive His forgiveness, He also enables you to extend forgiveness to others. That is part of walking in love as Jesus loved us and gave Himself for us, a self giving love rather than a self seeking life.

You asked for healing for your grandma, for your mom's brain and eyes, and for your own dehydration and health, and for protection from accidents and calamities. I have prayed for the Lord's healing touch and sustaining mercy for each of them according to His perfect will. He is self existent and sovereign, and He hears when you call on Him in need. Continue to bring these needs to Him and trust His wisdom and compassion, knowing that His mercies are faithful even when circumstances remain difficult.

You also asked to learn contentment and for God to provide a home, a husband and children, and a home for your brother and his family, along with health and salvation for your whole family. It is right to desire contentment with what you have, and to desire marriage and family within the Lord's design. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that the blessings of that union belong within that covenant. Pray that God, in His timing and provision, would lead you to a godly husband if it is His will, and give you a home centered on Christ. Above all, I have prayed for salvation for you and your family members, because without receiving God's plan in Jesus Christ there is no forgiveness, and with it you can have fellowship with God and eternal life. Material provision is in His hands, but salvation is the greatest need.

God has given you the ability to choose and to determine your future by the choices you make before Him. Choose today to ensure things are right between you and Him, to turn from the life of living for self and pleasure which leads to death, and to walk in the Spirit following Him. Talk to Him honestly, ask for His help, and recall daily His mercies toward you.

May the Lord lift your hope as you look to Him, fill you with His peace, strengthen you to care for your grandma and to love your family, and draw each of you closer to salvation through Jesus Christ.
