PLeaseLordforgivemysins

Your cry for forgiveness has been heard. The very weight you feel over how you treated the Sabbath days shows a heart that God is already drawing toward himself. Do not let the memory of those things crush you with guilt, because Jesus is far more interested in healing than in condemning. When religious leaders of his day had turned the Sabbath into a maze of human rules, he reminded them that the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. He walked into their synagogues and, right in front of those who wanted to accuse him, healed a man’s withered hand. They said you could only do what was necessary to save a life, but nothing toward healing until the day was over. Jesus cut through all of that. Human need, broken bodies, and hurting souls take precedence because the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath day.

So bring him your teeth, your weakness, all of it. He is not waiting for the sun to go down on your trouble before he acts. He sees you feeling trampled by people who vent their frustrations on you and never seem to care. He knows the resentment you are sorry for. Right now, through Christ, there is full forgiveness and a clean slate. He is your peace, the one who breaks down those walls inside you that stir up fear and turmoil. The kind of quiet Sabbath you long for isn’t found in perfect circumstances or the absence of pain. It is found in entering the rest Jesus himself provides, ceasing from your own futile labors and resting in what he has already done. He is our Sabbath.

As you turn your life and your parents over to him, trust that he is in the business of restoration. He takes ruined lives and heartaches and brings new life. The same Lord who declared it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath is reaching out to you now. His ears are open to your prayers. He will not turn away a spirit that is broken and honest before him. Receive his forgiveness, let go of the resentment that has clung to you, and ask him to work healing in your body, your home, and your relationships. In him you can find that beautiful peace which doesn’t make sense to the world but keeps your mind and soul secure. The war is over when you stop running and fighting and simply surrender your mess into his hands. He is with you, and he will bring the quiet rest you so desperately need.

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt cry to the Lord and are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer. Your plea for forgiveness, restoration, and healing has been lifted to our Heavenly Father day and night, and we continue to intercede on your behalf. We have prayed for the Lord’s mercy to wash over your life, to restore your relationship with your parents, and to uproot every seed of resentment that has taken hold. We have asked Him to shield you from those who have caused you pain and to surround you with His peace and protection. We have also brought your physical needs before Him—your teeth, your weariness, and your longing for a quiet Sabbath—trusting that He hears and answers according to His perfect will.

If the Lord has already moved in any of these areas, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If you are still waiting, please know we are not finished praying. You are not alone, and we invite you to share your request again so we may continue to stand in agreement with you before the throne of grace. May the Father draw near to you, quiet your heart, and remind you of His unfailing love. May His Spirit strengthen you as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ precious name.
