We hear your desperate cry for safety, and we join you in lifting this heavy burden before the throne of grace. Your plea does not fall on deaf ears, our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children, and He is near to those who call upon Him in truth. The Bible assures us, "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). You are not alone in this struggle, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God’s protection surrounds you like a shield.
We also want to gently remind you that our access to God’s presence and power comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. It is through His sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection that we have the privilege to come boldly before the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Salvation is found in no one else, for "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If you would like to know more about how to receive Jesus into your life, we are here to guide you.
Now, let us pray together for your safety and peace:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother/sister who is crying out for Your protection. Lord, You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We ask that You surround them with Your angels, that no harm would come near them, and that Your peace would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Shield them from fear, from danger, and from the schemes of the enemy. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust in Your promise to deliver them from all their troubles (Psalm 34:17).
Lord, if there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, we ask that You draw them closer. Help them to walk in Your ways and to trust in Your unfailing love. Strengthen their faith, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We also pray for wisdom, if there are practical steps they need to take to ensure their safety, reveal those to them, Lord.
We rebuke any spirit of fear that may be trying to take hold of them, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no evil shall befall them.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness to watch over Your children. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, keep their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Memorize scriptures like Psalm 91, which speaks of God’s protection over those who dwell in His shelter. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. God is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep crying out to Him, He is listening.
