Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me that I will find my notebook tomorrow tomorrow is our resumption of class my teacher might scold me if I still haven't found my notebook it's been 1. Wekk I cNt find it I'm shaking so bad RN I'm thinking of hanging myself please lord answer this I'm serious 🄹🄹🄹😭😭😭

We have heard your cry and we are praying for you right now and we want you to know that you are deeply loved and your life is precious to God and to those around you. We understand you are shaking and feeling overwhelmed about your notebook and being afraid of being scolded tomorrow after not finding it for a week, and we also hear that you are thinking of hanging yourself and we want to gently and firmly tell you that this is not the answer and God does not want you to harm yourself.

Your life has immense value and purpose that is far greater than a lost notebook or a scolding from a teacher. Even when we feel anxious and crushed, God sees you and cares about both the small things that worry you and the deep pain in your heart. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. 1 Pet 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Matt 11:28 says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.

We also notice you called out to lord but did not mention Jesus, and we want to share with love that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and find salvation and true peace. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call on His name for forgiveness, help and eternal hope.

We are praying together for you.

Father in heaven, we lift this precious one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the anxiety and fear and shaking that has overwhelmed them tonight and You know where this notebook is. We ask that in Your mercy You would help them find what is lost, or provide grace and understanding from their teacher tomorrow. Lord, calm their heart and pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding as promised in Phil 4:6-7 which says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Protect them from all thoughts of self harm, remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made and that You have plans for them. Jer 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Keep them safe tonight and draw them close to You, and help them to reach out for help. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Please do not stay alone with these thoughts tonight. We urge you to reach out right now to a parent, a trusted family member, a teacher, a school counselor, or a pastor and tell them honestly that you are feeling overwhelmed and having thoughts of harming yourself and that you need help and someone to stay with you. If you feel in immediate danger, please contact a trusted adult or a local crisis helpline or emergency services in your area right away. Your teacher may be disappointed about a notebook, but that is a small and temporary problem that can be solved by honestly explaining what happened and asking for grace or a replacement, and it is never worth harming yourself over.

We encourage you to take some deep breaths, pray and ask God to help you retrace your steps calmly, ask family to help you look once more in bags, under beds, at school lost and found, and to be honest with your teacher tomorrow. God can give you peace even if the notebook is not found right away. You are not alone and God is near and He cares for you and we are continuing to pray that you will find help, hope, comfort and that tomorrow will be covered by His grace.

We are so thankful you told us what you are carrying tonight. Because you mentioned thinking about hanging yourself and shaking so badly, we want to care for your safety first. If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. You are not alone; trained people are ready to help right now, and we encourage you to reach out to someone near you tonight and not stay alone.

We hear how overwhelming this week has been, waiting for class to resume and worrying about your notebook and what your teacher might say. It makes sense that a week of not finding it would leave you anxious and shaky, especially when you are trying so hard to be ready. Please know that a missing notebook, even with a scolding, does not define your worth, and you do not have to face this fear by yourself.

It would help to tell a trusted adult tonight, a parent, family member, school counselor, or teacher, honestly about both the notebook and the thoughts of harming yourself, so they can stay with you and help you make a plan for tomorrow. If you can, let that person know you are shaking and distressed, and consider reaching out to a counselor or medical professional as well alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this student to You tonight. You see their anxiety and fear, and we ask You to surround them with Your presence and with caring people who will stay close. Give them safety, calm and clear next steps, and help them feel Your love. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry has been heard and we have taken it to the Lord for you even as we read it with a heavy and tender heart. To be shaking and afraid tonight, to feel that a lost notebook and the fear of a teacher's scolding is more than you can bear, and to have thoughts of hanging yourself, is a very great burden. Hear us with care, you are precious in the sight of God, and your life is precious to Him and to us. The Lord does not will that you should end your life, but that you should seek Him and live.

We are praying for you now, that the Lord who numbers the hairs of your head and whose thoughts toward you are constant and kind and wise and tender will quiet your trembling heart and keep you through this night. His thoughts are not as our thoughts, for as the heavens are higher than the earth so are His thoughts higher than our thoughts, and His ways higher than our ways. When your own thoughts say there is no hope, His Word says, Fear not, for I will help you. Fear not, for I am with you. That word is spoken not by a mere preacher but by Jesus Himself to the poor soul fallen down as dead at His feet, Fear not.

We understand that the fear of man brings a snare, and that anxiety unfits us to meet the very difficulty we fear. Fear is weakening and it dishonors God when it makes us forget that the arm which piled the heavens is still strong to sustain us. Labor then, as God shall help you, to cast your fear upon Him. There is no hope for you in yourself to bear this alone, but there is hope for you in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior of such as you. The Lord Jesus Christ bore our sins and our sorrows, and He says to the sinking soul, Fear not, only believe.

We pray for your notebook, that if it be the Lord's will it may be found tomorrow, and that He will give you favor with your teacher. And we pray far more for your soul, that He will lift this darkness from you and give you a calm mind and a good hope of eternal life through believing in Jesus Christ. How precious are His thoughts unto us, how great is the sum of them. When you awake, may you be still with Him.

Do not remain alone with these thoughts tonight. We plead with you, as you love your own soul, go at once to one who can be with you in person, a parent, a family member, a pastor, a teacher, a trusted friend, and tell them plainly that you are shaking and have thought of harming yourself. Let them stay with you and help you. If you feel you may act upon these thoughts, please go to the nearest hospital or call your local emergency number right away, or call or text a trusted helpline in your country. You can find helplines at findahelpline.org. If you are in school tomorrow, tell your teacher honestly and humbly that you have searched for a week and cannot find the book and ask for help and for time. A lost notebook is a small trouble that can be mended, it is not worth your life.

We will pray for you by name before the Lord.

O Lord, hear this trembling one who cries out of the depths. Let Your ears be attentive to the voice of supplication. Forgive sin through the precious blood of Jesus, and let forgiveness bring holy reverence and peace. Cast out tormenting fear with perfect love. Say to this dear soul, Fear not, I have redeemed you, I will help you. Keep this life, guard this heart, and turn this possible hope into an actual hope through faith in Christ. Give wisdom to find what is lost, or grace to bear what is not found, and give tomorrow a new mercy. In Jesus name, Amen.

Stay with others tonight, keep praying though it be with few words, and let us know that you are safe.
