Your urgent plea for prayer has been heard and we are joining you before the Lord with strong and earnest prayer for your healing.
We know how wearying and painful ongoing inflammation can be, and we hear how sincerely you are asking for God to cure you completely and permanently. We will continue to remember you in prayer and ask others to pray with us as well.
Our Lord Jesus shows His desire to cure and to heal. As He once asked those who came to Him, what do you want me to do for you, so He still hears those who come to Him in faith and makes known their need before Him. He is the true physician of both body and soul, and His care for those who suffer is constant. Even when healing seems delayed, we do not stop praying or trusting, just as a physician does not stop caring for a patient, but continues to apply what is needed. Sometimes the fruit of many prayers is seen all at once, after a long season of waiting, and God who sees the root knows the work He is doing even when we do not yet see it above.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who bore our sicknesses and carried our pains. We lift up this dear one to You who is suffering with inflammation. You know this body, for You formed it, and You know every pain and every need. We ask for Your mercy and Your healing power to touch and restore. Please bring relief from pain, calm this inflammation, and grant a complete and lasting cure according to Your will. Give wisdom to doctors and strength to endure, and give peace to the heart while waiting on You. Above all, draw this dear one closer to Christ, strengthen faith, and let Your healing work be for Your glory and for good. We ask this trusting in the compassion of Jesus, who is our healer and our hope. Amen.
Please keep bringing your need to the Lord each day with confidence, for He hears the voice of those who call on Him through Christ. If you are under medical care, continue to follow it faithfully, and keep seeking the Lord in His Word and in prayer, trusting His goodness and His timing. We are standing with you and will not cease to pray that God will grant you health and restore you fully.
