Silas
Beloved of All
We join you in asking God for complete healing for your marriage and we bring your request before Jesus who has compassion and sympathetic understanding for our weaknesses and needs.
He sees everything about you and your spouse. Nothing is hidden from Him. He knows the hurt, the pressure, and the outside influences that are trying to pull you apart, both the physical pressures you can see and the spiritual opposition you cannot see. Scripture reminds us that our struggle is not only against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces, and that the enemy seeks to divide what God has joined together.
Marriage is God's design, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and Jesus taught that what God has joined together no one should separate. Because of that we pray with confidence that God desires to protect and restore what He has ordained.
There are wounds and divisions that no human effort can fully cure, just as there were conditions in the law that only God's divine action could heal. When we come to Him we are asking for that kind of work, a work of grace that only He can do. He is not kept back by religious form or human tradition. His heart is to reach out and touch lives and bring healing where people cannot heal themselves.
So we pray that in Jesus name the plans of the enemy against your home would fail. We ask the Lord to remove and restrain every outside influence that means harm to your covenant, to guard your hearts and minds, and to surround your marriage with His protection. We ask Him to bring forgiveness where there has been hurt, softness where there has been hardness, truth where there has been confusion, and unity where there has been division.
We ask Him to give you both a fresh trust in His righteousness which comes through faith, resting not in your own strength but in what Christ has done for you, and to lead you both into greater maturity and love as you walk with Him. May He pour out His love and compassion upon you and make His healing touch known in your home.
We will continue to pray that God strengthens your covenant, keeps you close to Jesus, and lets no outside force rip apart what He is holding together.
