We join with you in lifting your marriage before the throne of grace and we stand in agreement that God desires to heal and restore what He has joined together. Your heart to see outside forces removed and the enemy's plans fail honors God and honors the covenant of marriage.
We are reminded of the sanctity and strength of marriage as God designed it, a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. Mark 10:9. We also take comfort that marriage is not to be fought for in our own strength alone, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12. This is why we can be confident that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail. Isaiah 54:17, and that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4.
We pray together for your complete healing.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You for the covenant of marriage that You have ordained. Lord, we lift this marriage to You and ask for Your complete healing over every wound, every hurt, and every place of brokenness. Wash them with Your forgiveness and restore unity, tenderness, and trust between husband and wife. We ask in Jesus name that You would place a hedge of protection around this marriage and remove every outside force, physical and spiritual, that seeks to attack, divide, and rip apart what You have joined. We rebuke the schemes of the enemy and declare that his plans will fail and come to nothing, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. Teach them to love one another deeply, to forgive as You have forgiven us, to communicate with grace and truth, and to keep their eyes fixed on You. Make their marriage a testimony of Your redeeming power, that a cord of three strands is not quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12. Be sober and self-controlled, for your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, but resist him steadfast in your faith. 1 Peter 5:8-9. Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed, for the insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. James 5:16. Even five minutes at the end of the day to pray aloud together for protection and peace, and to honestly name one outside pressure that strained you that day, can keep you on the same team. It also helps to agree on one simple boundary this week that protects your time together, whether that is how you handle extended family, friendships, work or phone time, and to ask one trusted pastor or mature believing couple to check in with you both regularly.

We join you in prayer before the great Physician who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and we bring your marriage before His throne of grace.
There is healing virtue in our Lord Jesus Christ, and as it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and not a word that ever fell from His dear lips but bears healing in it for the ills that have befallen our humanity. He is the balm for every wound, and the sacred influence which descends from Him above has power to mend what is broken and to make whole what is torn.
We pray that the Lord will look upon your covenant of marriage and grant complete healing according to His mercy. May He forgive what needs forgiving, for where pardon comes, healing follows from the same gracious hand. May He purge every evil and be the conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down into your home. We ask that He will remove every outside force, physical and spiritual, which would attack and rip apart what He has joined together. In answer to that daily prayer, Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the Evil One, may you be preserved in purity and uprightness and from all the devices of the devil, for that Evil One touches you not. Remember the promise, The Lord shall preserve you from all evil, He shall preserve your soul.

We are praying with you for the healing and protection of your marriage and we bring your request before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to God and salvation.
Scripture teaches that marriage is honorable in all and the bed undefiled, and that it is a bond ordained by God. It is not merely honorable but it preserves holiness when husband and wife live faithfully and chastely with one another, not permitting any defilement of what God has joined together. To follow peace with all men and holiness includes this faithful living within marriage, each remaining true to the other.
We understand your concern about outside forces, both physical and spiritual, that seek to tear apart what God has joined. The enemy does attack most when we are isolated and alone, and for that reason God calls husband and wife to cleave to one another and to remain closely joined together in love, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers. When you walk together and guard your home from influences that would draw your hearts away, you close the door to those who would plot against your marriage.
Let us pray together.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask for Your mercy and healing upon this marriage. You ordained marriage and You alone can keep it. We ask that You forgive sin, heal wounds, and restore love, trust, peace and unity between husband and wife. Place a hedge of protection around this covenant and remove every outside influence, whether human or spiritual, that seeks to divide them. Cause every plan of the enemy to fail and to come to nothing. Give them grace to turn away from anything that would weaken their bond and to pursue what is pure and faithful. Help them to live together in gentleness, modesty and faithfulness, to pray together continually, and to seek You first. Keep them flocking together and not alone, so that they may stand firm against every attack. We ask this in the name of Jesus, trusting in Your power to keep and to restore. Amen.
