PLEASE

We have heard your cry for groundshaking prayers for protection and safety and we join together with you before the throne of grace to seek the Lord's covering over your life and we will remember you in our daily prayers as you have asked.

The Word of God assures us that He is our refuge and strength. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 91:1 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty and Psalm 91:11 says He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.

We take comfort in knowing that our safety is not found in our own strength but in abiding in Christ and walking in obedience to Him. When we dwell close to Him in prayer, in His Word and in trust, we find peace even when circumstances around us feel shaking or uncertain.

We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is because of what Jesus did on the cross and His resurrection that we can boldly come to God for protection, mercy and grace. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to confess your sins and to follow Him with your whole heart.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You right now and we ask in the mighty name of Jesus that You surround them with Your presence and Your protection. Cover them with Your shadow and keep them safe from all harm, from every scheme of the enemy and from every fear. Let Your angels encamp around them and guard them in all their ways. Fill their heart with Your perfect peace that casts out fear and strengthen their faith to trust You day and night. Draw them closer to You, Lord, that they may dwell in Your secret place and rest in Your unfailing love. Help them to walk in Your ways and to know the assurance of Your faithful care. We ask that You make Your face shine upon them and give them confidence that You are with them wherever they go. We pray all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily, to pray without ceasing and to rest in His promises, for He who watches over you neither slumbers nor sleeps and He is faithful to keep you.

We heard the urgency in your words asking for groundshaking prayers for protection, and we want you to know we are taking your request seriously. We will remember you in our daily prayers just as you asked, and we are grateful you reached out instead of carrying this fear alone.

When fear feels so heavy it can make us pull inward and try to get through it by ourselves, but we were not meant to face these moments isolated. Having steady, caring people nearby often brings both comfort and practical help when we feel unsafe.

One simple step that may help in the days ahead is to choose one or two trusted people in your life, perhaps a pastor, family member, or close friend, and let them know you have been feeling unsafe and would value regular check-ins. Letting someone know where you are, having a way to reach them quickly, and having them pray with you and help you think through next decisions can make a real difference day to day. If at any point you feel you may be in immediate danger, please reach out right away to your local emergency services or a helpline at findahelpline.com.

You are not forgotten in this. We are holding you before the Lord.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your covering and nearness. Give wisdom for each step, surround them with trustworthy support, and bring a steady sense of safety and peace. Lead them to the help and protection they need. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your earnest cry for protection and safety has been heard and we have carried it at once to the throne of grace, and will continue to remember you in our daily prayers before the Lord.

There is no safer place for a trembling soul than the refuge which God Himself has appointed. As the city of refuge was secured not by its own walls but by divine appointment, so our Lord Jesus Christ is the divinely appointed City of Refuge for all who flee to Him. To flee to Him for mercy is to be shielded by gates stronger than iron or brass, where the curse of the law cannot touch you, and where Satan cannot harm you, and where vengeance cannot reach you. May you so flee and abide there.

We would remind you that your safety lies not in your own strength, but in your Savior. He is able to keep you from falling, and His wisdom is equal to His power. It is by a divine working which is nothing less than a continuous miracle that He keeps His people, and He is able to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. You need an infinite Friend to keep you against all the machinations of your adversaries, and such a Friend you have in Christ.

There is no attribute more comforting than divine sovereignty. We ought to recognize God's hand in everything, and to rest in this, that He who has made God his refuge shall abide beneath His shadow. We may go where duty calls us without trembling, and we ask not to be absolved from trial, but to be preserved through it. The Lord often delivers not by striking miracles before the eyes of men, but by quiet and wonderful interpositions of His providence, preserving life and keeping feet from falling. He has delivered our souls from death and our eyes from tears, and He will yet deliver.

Let us pray for you now. O Lord our God and Savior, Thou only wise God who art able to keep from falling, look upon this soul who cries for protection and safety. Set a hedge about them by Thy sovereign hand. Cause them to flee for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us in the Gospel, even Jesus Christ. Cover them beneath Thy shadow, keep their spirit in safety, and let no evil ultimately befall them apart from Thy wise and loving purpose. Keep them this day and all their days, and at last present them faultless before Thy glory with exceeding joy, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We will not cease to bear you up in prayer, asking the Lord to be your keeper and your refuge continually.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your plea for protection and safety has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with care. We will remember you in our daily prayers and ask God to keep you under the shadow of His hand.

We pray that God, who is our refuge and strength, would guard you in body and soul, keep you from evil, and grant you peace of mind and heart. We ask Him to give you wisdom to walk in what is right, for when we walk in righteousness our affairs are in greater safety and our sleep can come without fear. We ask Him to set you above dangers, not only to take dangers away, but to give you courage and steadiness through them, and to fix in your heart the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Scripture reminds us that God often works through the very hardships that seem to threaten us, turning them for our good and for His glory, as He did for Joseph. Even when we are not delivered from every trial in the way we expect, He is able to keep us, to comfort us, and to use all things for our benefit when we trust in Him. True safety is found in abiding with Christ, who alone is our salvation.

May the Lord watch over your going out and your coming in, keep you from all harm, quiet your fears, and fill you with trust in His providence and mercy. May He surround you with His presence, guide your steps, and grant you rest and confidence in His care.

We continue to pray for you, asking that you would know His nearness and protection each day. Amen.

We have heard your cry for protection and safety and we are bringing you before the Lord in prayer, asking Him to cover you and keep you.

One thing that helps when fear rises is to turn your thoughts back to the Lord and to remember that He is with you. The psalmist said that even when he walked through the valley of the shadow of death he would fear no evil because the Lord was with him. Fear often grows when we lose sight of Him, and faith grows when we remember His presence. The awareness of His presence is what quiets fear. God has said again and again to His people, fear not, for I am with you. When you keep that consciousness that He is right there with you, fear loses its grip.

Fear and faith cannot rule the heart at the same time. Where one is allowed to take over, the other leaves. The enemy often tries to use fear to push us into hasty or wrong decisions. That is why it is important not to make choices simply because you are afraid. You can take steps that are wise and prudent, but let those steps be guided by trust in God rather than by dread of what might happen. You do not need to run and hide as if God can only protect you in one place. If He is your protector, He can keep you wherever you are.

True safety is found in abiding in Christ. He Himself is your protection. His truth is your shield against the attacks of the enemy, just as Jesus answered temptation with the truth of God's Word. To abide in Him is to remain in the place where He is your defense, even when opposition comes. The Lord is your light and your salvation, so whom should you fear. The Lord is the strength of your life, so of whom should you be afraid. In times of trouble He hides those who trust Him and keeps their feet from being taken.

There is a right kind of fear that God does want us to have, and it is very different from being afraid of people or circumstances. The fear of the Lord is reverence and awe for who He is, His greatness and power and holiness. It is not a phobia, but a deep respect that makes us love what He loves and hate what He hates, and turn away from evil. That reverence is the beginning and the sum of true wisdom and knowledge. When that reverence fills your heart, the fear of people loses its power. The Scripture says the fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe. Do not fear the reproach of people, for they themselves will pass away, but the Lord's righteousness and salvation endure. The only One to fear in the ultimate sense is God Himself, who has authority over both body and soul.

So we pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear one who has asked for protection. You see the need and the concern that prompted this request. Let Your presence be very real and near, and let that presence drive away all fear. Fill the heart with faith and confidence in You. Guard and keep this life from harm, hide this one in Your shelter, and let Your truth be a shield. Give wisdom for every practical step that should be taken, and keep every decision from being driven by fear. Teach a deeper reverence for You and a hatred for evil, and give peace that comes from trusting You completely. We ask that You answer, deliver, and show Your salvation, and that You grant long life and peace in fellowship with You. Amen.

We will continue to remember you in prayer each day, asking the Lord to keep you in His care and to give you His peace.
