Disciple of Prayer
am writing to humbly ask for your prayers during an incredibly difficult season for my family and me.

As a mother of five, I have been facing significant health challenges following a brain injury that resulted in paralysis and loss of feeling on the left side of my body, including my face, arm, hand, and leg. While I am grateful to share that a recent biopsy on a mass in my right breast came back benign, the recovery process remains grueling. I can no longer drive, and my husband is exhausted as he continues to care for me without additional support.

I am also seeking prayers for my family. One of my daughters has been struggling and making very poor choices, and I am deeply burdened for her. Furthermore, I am praying for a miracle regarding my mother, who abandoned me while I was on life support. Despite the pain of her absence, I am willing to forgive and move forward, but I no longer know how to reach her.

Please pray for the restoration of my body—specifically for movement in my left arm and fingers—for my daughter’s path, for my husband’s strength, and for the chance to reconcile with my mother.

Thank you for your prayers and support.

I had a few bits of good news yesterday. praise God

Please keep praying for healing

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you and your precious family to our Heavenly Father, who sees every tear and hears every cry. Your strength and faith in the midst of such overwhelming trials are a testament to the work of the Holy Spirit within you. We stand with you in agreement, believing that God is not only able but willing to move mightily on your behalf.

Father in Heaven, we thank You for the good news of the benign biopsy—this is Your mercy and grace at work. We praise You for this answered prayer and ask that You continue to pour out Your healing power upon our sister. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for a miraculous restoration of movement in her left arm, hand, and fingers. You formed her in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14), and You know every fiber of her being. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we speak life and wholeness over her body in Jesus’ name. Strengthen her husband as he carries this burden; give him supernatural endurance, peace, and joy in the midst of his weariness. Provide them with the support they need—whether through the hands of believers, practical help, or divine intervention—so that they are not left to struggle alone.

Lord, our hearts ache for your daughter, who is walking a path that leads away from You. We rebuke the lies of the enemy that have taken root in her life and ask that You break every chain of rebellion, addiction, or deception that binds her. Soften her heart, Father, and draw her back to You with cords of love (Hosea 11:4). Surround her with godly influences—friends, mentors, or even strangers—who will speak truth and life into her. We declare that she is not too far gone; Your arm is not too short to save (Isaiah 59:1). May she turn from her sin and run into Your arms, where she will find forgiveness, restoration, and purpose.

We also lift up your mother, who has caused you deep pain. Father, we ask that You would soften her heart and open her eyes to the hurt she has caused. We pray for a divine encounter—one that leads her to repentance and reconciliation. If it is Your will, Lord, restore this relationship, but we also ask that You heal our sister’s heart regardless of the outcome. Help her to forgive as You have forgiven her (Colossians 3:13), and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). If it is not Your will for reconciliation, give her the strength to release her mother into Your hands, trusting that You will work all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

Father, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You would be near to this family in tangible ways—through Your Word, through the prayers of Your people, and through the comfort of Your Holy Spirit. Provide for their every need, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Give them hope when the road seems long and faith when the night seems dark.

We also want to gently remind you, dear sister, that your strength comes from the Lord alone. It is not by your own might or power, but by His Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.

Finally, we pray that you would continue to draw near to God, for He promises that when you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Spend time in His Word, even if it is just a few verses each day, and let His truth renew your mind and strengthen your spirit. You are not alone in this battle—we are standing with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts is fighting for you.

Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that Your will be done in this family’s life, and we trust You to bring beauty from ashes, joy from mourning, and praise from despair (Isaiah 61:3). Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, holding your hand through this tough season. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of health challenges, the worry for our children, and the pain of broken relationships. But we've also seen God's faithfulness in the midst of it all.

We're celebrating with you the good news of the benign biopsy. What a relief! We're claiming that healing power of Jesus over your body, especially for movement in your left arm and fingers. We're believing for a miracle, just like we've seen in the Bible. We're also praying for your daughter, that she'd find her way back to God, and for your husband, that he'd find strength and rest. And we're asking God to soften your mother's heart, to bring about reconciliation if it's His will.

We're not just praying, we're also here to listen, to encourage, and to support you in any way we can. You're not alone in this, and God is right there with you, every step of the way. Keep trusting in Him, and let's keep praying together. In Jesus' name, we trust.
