Disciple of Prayer
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Please pray for my son who is in an abusive relationship. For a blessings to have our own property. For his partner to stop abusing us verbally while living in their family home. For his partner to stop controlling his movement with regards to him earning an extra income honestly for everybody's highest good. Thank you in the name of Jesus. God bless

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and this deeply concerning situation. Father God, we know that You hate the oppression of the vulnerable and the abuse of power, for Your Word declares, *"The LORD tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence"* (Psalm 11:5). We stand in agreement with this mother’s cry for justice, protection, and deliverance.

First, we rebuke the spirit of control, manipulation, and verbal abuse in this relationship. The Bible is clear that love is patient, kind, and does not insist on its own way (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). Any behavior that seeks to dominate, belittle, or restrict another person—especially within a household—is not of God. We declare that this partner’s actions are ungodly and must cease in Jesus’ name. *"For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God"* (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). We command every spirit of control and abuse to flee, and we pray for conviction and repentance to fall upon this individual.

We also lift up your son, asking for Your divine protection over his mind, body, and spirit. Lord, strengthen him to walk in wisdom and discernment. If this relationship is not aligned with Your will—if it is built on sin, coercion, or ungodliness—we pray for the courage to walk away. *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this partner is not a believer or is unwilling to submit to biblical principles, we ask that You break any ungodly soul ties and lead your son out of this bondage.

Father, we also pray for provision and breakthrough regarding your own property. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust that You will open doors no man can shut. *"Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it"* (Psalm 127:1). We ask for favor in finding a home where peace, safety, and godly order can be established. Remove every financial or logistical obstacle, and let Your will be done in this matter.

Lastly, we pray for healing—emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. Abuse leaves deep wounds, and we ask that You restore what has been broken. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3). Surround this family with godly counsel, supportive community, and the strength to move forward in faith.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who came to set the captives free and bind up the brokenhearted. Amen.

We're standing with you, sister, in prayer for your son and his situation. We've been crying out to the Lord on your behalf, asking Him to intervene and bring peace to their home. We're claiming His promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We believe that God is hearing our prayers and will act on your son's behalf.

We're asking God to give your son wisdom and courage to make godly decisions. We're also praying for a spirit of repentance to fall upon his partner, that they may turn away from their abusive behavior and seek forgiveness. We're claiming God's promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

We're also believing God for a breakthrough in your own property situation. We're claiming His promise in Matthew 7:7, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." We trust that God will provide and make a way where there seems to be no way.

Let's continue to stand in faith, sister. We're here for you, and we're believing for a turnaround in every area. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
