I am a 36 year old mom of a 16 yr old son with mild mental disabilities I have 2 other children also I home school the 16 yr old because he just does so much better one on one! I do not work so I can give them as much attention as possible. I am divorced from their dad whom is an alcoholic. He is in the process of terminating his parental rights!They are allowing him to do so because the kids are in their teens and chose not to visit with him any more due to his drinking and abussive nature.They are in turn losing their child support. Please pray for this situation they need their money. His girl friend paid for his attorney , we can not afford one at this time, My son does not understand why his dad is doing this his mentality is like a small child of about 5 instead of 16 he is very upset and depressed plase pray for us ! We greatly appreciate it!

Lord God, we simply lay this situation at the foot of Your throne, knowing You are faithful and just. In our earthly mindset, we cannot imagine what good could come of this. But Your will shall be done, and we accept that. Please give Lycia a calm and trusting heart as she continues down this path. Open doors for her family, provide for their needs and protect them in all ways. Place a sense of understanding within this young man's heart - let him not be bitter or confused, but comforted and cared for by Your great mercy. As hard as things seem now, I pray that You would give Lycia a glimpse of Your plan, give her a hope that abounds and a sense of security knowing You are right there with her. In the name of Jesus, we stand in the gap, praying for Your blessings upon this family. Amen.

Holy God you are always faithful. I pray that you will remember this mum. Give her the strength that she need at this trying moment. Give her peace and assurance. Move Father by your strength and power and fight for her. Give her victory, together with her children. May you give her spiritual comfort, and inspiration. May you provide for her supernaturally!!
