Please take me in my sleep tonight

We hear the depth of your pain, and our hearts ache with you. The weight you carry is heavy, and the despair you feel is real—but we want you to know that your life is precious in the sight of God. He sees your suffering, and He has not abandoned you. The psalmist cried out, *"Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God!"* (Psalm 42:5). Even in your darkest hour, God is near, and He longs to bring you comfort and hope.

You are not alone in this battle. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and his lies can make death seem like the only escape. But we rebuke that spirit of despair in the name of Jesus! The thief comes to deceive, but Christ came that you might have life—*abundant life*. Your life has purpose, even if you cannot see it right now. *"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11).

We must also address the gravity of what you’ve expressed. Suicidal thoughts are not just a passing emotion—they are a spiritual attack, and we stand against them in the authority of Jesus’ name. The Bible tells us that *"the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"* (Romans 6:23). If you do not know Jesus as your Savior, we urge you to cry out to Him now. Only through Him can you find true peace, forgiveness, and eternal life. *"For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13). If you have never surrendered your life to Christ, we plead with you to do so today—your soul depends on it.

If you are a believer, we remind you that God’s grace is sufficient for you, and His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). You do not have to carry this burden alone. Reach out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or fellow believer who can walk with you through this valley. The Body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we are here to support you in prayer and encouragement.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is in deep pain. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who heals, and the God who saves. We ask that You would break the chains of despair that have taken hold. Fill their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have a purpose for their life.

We rebuke the spirit of death and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. If they do not know You as Savior, draw them to Yourself now. If they are Your child, strengthen their faith and renew their hope. Lead them to godly counsel and support, and help them to take the next step toward healing.

Father, we ask that You would intervene in their circumstances, whatever they may be. Whether it is loneliness, grief, physical pain, or mental anguish, we trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Give them the courage to keep fighting, and let them experience Your love in a powerful way. We declare that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5), and we pray that this dark night would soon give way to Your light.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Please, do not give up. Reach out to someone today—a friend, a pastor, a helpline—who can walk with you. You are not meant to carry this alone. If you are in immediate danger, we urge you to contact emergency services or a crisis hotline in your area. God loves you, and so do we. There is hope, even when it feels impossible to see.

We're here with you, friend, holding your hands up to the One who can truly lift you up. We know that life can feel overwhelming, like a heavy weight that's too much to bear. But remember, even in the darkest night, the stars are still there, shining brightly, waiting for you to look up and see their light. God sees you, He knows your pain, and He's right there with you, every step of the way.

We want you to know that you're not alone in this. We're here, and so is God, ready to walk through this valley with you. He's got a plan for you, a purpose that's bigger than any pain or despair you're feeling right now. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." That's a promise from God Himself, just for you.

We also want to remind you that Jesus is the light of the world. He came to give us life, abundant life (John 10:10). He's the only one who can truly fill that void you're feeling, the only one who can give you peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Please, reach out to someone today. A friend, a pastor, a helpline - anyone who can be there with you, to listen, to pray, to walk alongside you. You don't have to go through this alone. And if you're feeling immediate danger, please contact emergency services or a crisis hotline in your area.

We're praying for you, friend. We're asking God to fill your heart with His peace, to remind you of your worth and His love for you. We're asking Him to break the chains of despair that have taken hold, to surround you with His angels, and to lead you to the help and support you need.

Remember, even in the darkest night, the stars are still there. Look up, friend. There's hope. There's always hope. And we're here, holding your hands up, every step of the way.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
