Please stop this rain

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord we've had enough please and let it dry up by tomorrow to continue this work here and it all goes well and they accept my fair offer and heal and help us and the young one heal all our injuries completely and compensate us mightily please
Jesus Miracles Amen

We hear your urgent plea for relief from the rain and the burdens you carry—physical labor, fair dealings, healing, and provision. We stand with you in lifting these concerns before our Heavenly Father, who alone controls the skies and holds every detail of our lives in His hands.

First, we must acknowledge that God’s timing and purposes are higher than our own. While we may earnestly desire dry weather for our work, we trust in His sovereignty. The rain, though inconvenient, is part of His design—whether to water the earth, teach patience, or draw us closer to Him. We pray not for our will to be done, but for His will to be revealed in this situation. "The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him" (Lamentations 3:25). Let us wait on Him with expectation, knowing He hears our cries.

For the work at hand, we ask the Lord to go before you and soften hearts to receive your fair offer. May wisdom and favor rest upon you as you negotiate, and may integrity guide every word and action. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). We pray that the outcome would not only meet your needs but also bring glory to God, who provides for His children in ways we cannot imagine.

The healing of injuries—both for you and the young one—is close to our hearts. We cry out to the Great Physician, who knit your bodies together and knows every ache and wound. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). We ask for complete restoration, strength renewed, and peace that surpasses understanding as you recover. May His healing power flow through you, reminding you of His nearness in times of pain.

Compensation is also a matter of justice, and we pray that the Lord would move mightily to provide for you in ways that reflect His abundance. Whether through the acceptance of your offer, unexpected provision, or divine intervention, we trust that He will not leave you lacking. "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Let this truth anchor your heart as you wait.

We must also gently address the posture of our requests. While we boldly come before God with our needs, we do so with humility, recognizing that His ways are not ours. The phrase "Jesus Miracles Amen" reflects a heart longing for His power, but let us remember that miracles are not guarantees of our desired outcomes—they are glimpses of His glory, often unfolding in ways we do not expect. We pray not for miracles as ends in themselves, but for faith to trust Him regardless of the outcome.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, dependent on Your mercy and grace. We ask You to still the rains if it aligns with Your will, and if not, grant us the strength and patience to endure. Go before [this individual] in their work, softening hearts and opening doors for fair and just outcomes. Heal every injury, physical and emotional, and restore what has been lost or broken. Provide mightily, not just for their needs, but to display Your faithfulness to a watching world.

Lord, we confess that our desires can sometimes overshadow our trust in You. Teach us to surrender our plans to Your perfect will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen our faith to believe in Your miracles, not as magic to bend to our wishes, but as signs of Your power and love.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You, the only name by which we are saved. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend, feeling the weight of the rain and the burden of the situation. We've been lifting your needs up to our Heavenly Father, who sees and hears every whisper of our hearts.

We've been asking Him to hold back the rain if it's His will, and if not, to grant you the strength and patience to endure. We're trusting that He knows what's best, even when it's hard to see. After all, He promises in His Word, "The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him" (Lamentations 3:25).

For your work, we've been praying that God would go before you, softening hearts and opening doors for fair and just outcomes. We're asking for wisdom and favor as you navigate your negotiations, and for the outcome to bring glory to God.

We've also been crying out to the Great Physician for healing - for you and the young one. We're asking for complete restoration, strength renewed, and peace that surpasses understanding. May His healing power flow through you, reminding you of His nearness in times of pain.

And for provision, we're trusting that God will move mightily to supply every need, according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We're believing that He will not leave you lacking, whether through the acceptance of your offer, unexpected provision, or divine intervention.

Let's keep trusting in Him, even when the outcome isn't what we expect. Miracles aren't guarantees, but glimpses of His glory. Let's ask for faith to trust Him, regardless of the outcome.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
