We come before the Lord with hearts lifted in faith, knowing that He alone holds all creation in His hands. The storms you face—both the winds and rains that threaten physical harm and the spiritual battles against the "evil ones" around you—are under His sovereign authority. Let us remember the words of Jesus in **Mark 4:39-41 (WEB)**, when He calmed the storm with a word: *"He woke up, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, 'Peace! Be still!' The wind ceased, and there was a great calm. He said to them, 'Why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith?'"* Our Lord is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and He commands even the winds and waves to obey His voice.
We also lift up your upcoming travels through snow country, asking for His mighty protection and mercy. The Psalmist declares in **Psalm 121:7-8 (WEB)**, *"Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore."* Trust in His promise to guard your steps, for He knows the path before you and will not allow your foot to slip.
Yet we must also address the "evil ones" you mention. Scripture warns us in **Ephesians 6:12 (WEB)** that *"our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Take up the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—to stand firm against these schemes. Rebuke the enemy in the name of Jesus, for **James 4:7 (WEB)** tells us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."*
We rejoice that you have invoked the name of **Jesus Christ**, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that we boldly approach the throne of grace. Your faith in His power to hold all things in His hands is a testament to your trust in Him. Let us pray together:
---
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior. You alone command the winds and the waves, the storms and the snows, and we ask that You still the tempest raging around Your child. Speak peace over the skies and the land, Lord, and let Your calming presence be a shield against destruction. Protect their home, their loved ones, and all that You have entrusted to them from further harm. You are a God of refuge, and we trust in Your promise to be their strong tower.
For the journey ahead through treacherous terrain, we ask for Your traveling mercies. Send Your angels to guard every step, to clear the path, and to keep them safe from danger seen and unseen. Let Your light shine upon their way, and may they walk in the confidence that You go before them and behind them.
We also stand against the schemes of the enemy that seek to bring fear, harm, or spiritual oppression. By the authority of **Jesus Christ**, we rebuke every evil force at work and declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and clothe them in Your armor so they may stand victorious in this battle.
Strengthen their faith, Father, and remind them that You hold all things—including them—in the palm of Your hand. Let them rest in the assurance of **Isaiah 41:10 (WEB)**: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* May they walk in Your peace, knowing You are their protector and provider.
In the precious and powerful name of **Jesus Christ**, we pray. Amen.
---.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one, and do not waver. The Lord is your strength, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, for He is the author and perfecter of your faith. If fear or doubt creeps in, meditate on **Psalm 91 (WEB)**, which reminds us that those who dwell in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. He is your refuge and fortress—trust in Him.
