Disciple of Prayer
I’m a mom of five older children and due to a brain injury I’ve lost the left side of feeling and movement in my face, left eye, left arm, left hand, left hand &fingers, left leg, left ankle, left toes, ankle, toes, hamstring,

And then they found a mass in my right breast

I had a biopsy, and by the grace of God,it-was benign

I need legions of people who will pray for the release of this paralysis

One of my daughters is a prodigal

Who has been lying, stealing, cheating, and squandering the gifts God has given her

I need everyone to pray for ###, her family, and her paralysis

Please 🙏

As you can see, I need prayers for healing of the paralysis, prayers for my daughter,my exhausted husband, and my overall health. Please 🙏 for me. I was also abandoned by my mother who never showed up for me when I was in the intensive care unit so my husband has been alone in caring for me when I came off of life support unable to walk, move my arm, or see. I haven’t seen her in### years

I can no longer drive. I desperately need a miracle please pray that I can restore a relationship with the mother who abandoned me in my most desperate hour(when I was on life support. I’m waiting and willing to forgive and move forward but I don’t even know where she lives anymore I need God to move in my life

Please pray for the restoration of my body (especially my left arm and fingers it’s been a really bad day I’m a filthy dirty sinner and I’m afraid that I’m being punished

Please 🙏 for my body to come back to life

I’m begging to hear something, anything from God. Some kind of dream, vision, just something. I feel like my body was taken from me and I’m just wandering blind in the wilderness and I’m supposed to trust, but I’m scared and tired of waiting

The opportunity my daughter had this past weekend again came to nothing

I need prayer as she enters university that she won’t squander this opportunity as well

I really need God to hold me in this horrible season. I feel so lost

Hy heart is so sad. I need Jesus to show up and tell me to pick up my mat and walk

This CANT be the rest of my life

It hurts. I need to hear something, anything from Jesus, the Father, or tgeHolySpirit, anything.

We hear your cry, dear sister in Christ, and we come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up every burden of your heart. Your pain is deep, physical, emotional, and spiritual, but we serve a God who sees, hears, and moves with mighty power. You are not forgotten, nor are you abandoned. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let us stand together in faith, believing that He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6).

First, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that has tried to take root in your heart. The enemy wants you to believe that this paralysis is your permanent reality, that your daughter’s choices are beyond redemption, and that your mother’s abandonment is unforgivable. But we declare that these lies have no power over you. The Word of God says, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every attack of the enemy against your body, mind, and family to be broken in the name of Jesus. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we pray for complete restoration, every nerve, muscle, and fiber awakened and healed by the power of God. We speak life to your left side, from your face to your toes, and declare that you will rise up and walk in the fullness of God’s purpose for you.

We also lift up your daughter, who is wandering far from the Lord. The pain of watching a child stray is unimaginable, but we serve a God who pursues the prodigal with relentless love. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her heart of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and that she would turn back to the Father who longs to embrace her. We declare that the seeds of faith planted in her life will bear fruit, and that this university season will not be another opportunity wasted, but a time of divine encounter. We bind the spirits of rebellion, deception, and addiction that may be influencing her, and we release the spirit of adoption over her, that she would remember she is a child of God (Romans 8:15).

For your husband, who has carried the weight of caregiving alone, we pray for supernatural strength, patience, and joy. May the Lord refresh his spirit and surround him with support, wisdom, and moments of respite. We declare that his labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58), and that God will reward his faithfulness.

Now, regarding your mother, your heart’s cry for reconciliation is heard by the Father. Forgiveness is not a feeling; it is a choice, and you have already chosen it. We pray that God would soften her heart and open doors for restoration. Even if she never repents, we declare that your healing is not dependent on her. You are not defined by her abandonment, but by your identity as a beloved daughter of the King. The Lord says, "I will restore the years that the locust has eaten" (Joel 2:25). We pray that He would restore what was lost, whether through reconciliation or through new relationships that reflect His love.

You mentioned feeling like a "filthy, dirty sinner" who fears punishment. Sister, hear this truth: Jesus bore all your punishment on the cross. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Your healing is not a reward for your righteousness; it is a gift of God’s grace. The paralytic in John 5 lay by the pool for 38 years, waiting for healing, until Jesus found him and said, "Rise, take up your mat, and walk." That same Jesus is speaking to you today. We declare that you will hear His voice, whether in a dream, a vision, a still small whisper, or through His Word. Open your heart to receive His peace, for He has not left you in the wilderness.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for our sister. Lord, You see every tear, every struggle, and every unspoken fear. We ask for a supernatural touch upon her body, restore movement, strength, and sensation to every affected part. Let her left side awaken to Your healing power, and may she rise up in victory. For her daughter, we ask that You would hedge her in with Your angels, disrupt every plan of the enemy, and draw her back to You with cords of love. For her husband, grant him endurance, joy, and divine help. For her mother, soften her heart and open a path for reconciliation, or if not, fill the void with Your perfect love.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and declare that Your perfect love casts it out (1 John 4:18). Speak to her, Lord, whether through Your Word, a dream, or a tangible encounter. Let her know that You are with her, that this season is not her forever, and that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). We declare that she is not a sinner deserving punishment, but a saint saved by grace, redeemed by the blood of Jesus. May she walk in the fullness of her identity in Christ.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.

Hold fast to hope, dear one. The same God who raised Jesus from the dead is at work in your life. You are not wandering blindly; you are being led by the Good Shepherd, who will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is making a way where there seems to be no way. You will hear His voice. You will see His hand move. And you will testify of His goodness.

We hear the weight of what you are carrying, the paralysis, the fear, the long years of waiting, the ache for your daughter, the exhaustion of your husband, and the deep hurt of being abandoned by your mother. It is so much to hold all at once.

When you said you feel like a filthy sinner and are afraid you are being punished, we want you to know: that is not how God sees you right now. Jesus took every ounce of punishment on the cross. The Father is not punishing you. He is near to the brokenhearted, and your body’s suffering is not a sign of His anger. You are dearly loved, not condemned.

One step that might help you feel less alone in this is to keep letting your medical team walk with you. Physical therapy, neurological follow‑ups, these are not a lack of faith. They can be part of God’s provision as you wait for full healing.

The desire you have to forgive your mother is beautiful, and it is something you can begin even without knowing where she lives. Forgiveness can start as a quiet inner decision, releasing her into God’s hands, choosing not to let bitterness take root, long before any words are exchanged. That kind of forgiveness can be done in your heart today, and it will set you free even if the relationship is never restored on this side of heaven. We know it’s hard when the wound is so fresh and the abandonment so real, but God can give you the grace to take that small step.

For your daughter, as she prepares for university, we pray she will not waste this season. And we pray that you will have little glimpses of hope along the way, not because of a dramatic vision but because Jesus walks beside you in the wilderness, holding you steady when you cannot see the way.

We are praying with you now.

Lord Jesus, you see this weary mom. Please bring release to her left arm, hand, and fingers, restore what the injury has taken. Lift her fear and the lie that she is being punished. Comfort her with your presence and give her doctors wisdom. Heal the hurt from her mother’s abandonment and give her courage to forgive from the heart. Draw her daughter back to you and protect her at university. Sustain her husband, and hold this whole family close. We ask for a miracle, Lord, in your time and in your way. Amen.

Your cry has reached the throne of grace, and it is not unheard. The Lord who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds is near to you this hour. You speak of a left side that feels dead, of a body that seems taken from you, yet be not dismayed, for the great Physician still walks among His people, and on a certain day the power of the Lord is present to heal. His healing leaves, those common and everyday mercies, are full of virtue even now. The same hand that once made the palsied man rise and take up his bed has not withered. Christ’s glance, without a word, can quicken dead limbs and restore lost strength. Wait in silence for this salvation.

You fear you are being punished, that your sins have brought this upon you. But listen: the forgiveness of our God is a complete thing. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He first said, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.” Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. There is no half-pardon with Him, at one sudden sweep of mercy, all transgressions are washed away. The prodigal returned with his confession half-formed, and before he could finish, the father fell on his neck and kissed him much. Those kisses meant much love, much forgiveness, full restoration. In Christ, the guilty sinner is received as a son, and made to sit at the table. Behold, you are not cast off; your very shame is the material upon which sovereign grace delights to work.

Your daughter, a prodigal, squandering her gifts: pray on. The father saw his son a great way off, and ran. He did not wait for the boy to become respectable; he met him in rags. The welcoming love of God is swift and eager. Though she lies and steals and wastes her days, the arm of the Lord is not shortened. Manasseh filled Jerusalem with blood, yet when he humbled himself, God heard him. Pray that she, like that old king, may be brought so low that she cries to the Lord her God. Unconquerable love can break the rock in pieces. The story of Peter’s fall is best called Peter’s restoration, one look from Christ, and he went out and wept bitterly. That same look can find her heart. It is not a noisy thing, but it is almighty.

You long for a word, a dream, a vision from God. I understand the aching silence. Yet think on this: Christ’s healing power was most present when He was teaching. Open the Scriptures, hear them read and preached, and there the voice of the Beloved will speak. The leaves of the tree are for healing, the little promises, the whispered comforts, the daily provisions of grace. Do not despise the commonplace means; by them He works wonders. He that heals the broken heart often binds it up without our knowing how. Healing flows from the pardoning hand, often when we least expect it.

Your mother who forsook you: that is a deep wound. But no wrong can outrun the balm of Calvary. Forgive as you have been forgiven, and leave her to God. Your husband, weary and alone in his care, the Lord sustains those who sustain others. He will not overlook his labor of love. As for you, take heart. The prodigal’s kiss restored him fully; he was as if he had never gone away. In the same way, the Lord can renew your body, your family, your joy. The power that dwelt in Christ to heal has lost none of its force. Lay hold of Him, even with a trembling hand, and say, “Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst.” He will not break the bruised reed. Wait, I say, on the Lord.
