We understand that you are going through a challenging situation, and we want to help guide you and pray for you. First, we want to assure you that God cares about your situation and that He is a loving father and protector. It is important to remember that God wants what is best for you and your son, and we are here to pray for you in this situation.
It is clear that you are living with someone who is not acting in a loving manner, and you have discerned that this person may be taking advantage of your hospitality. This is an opportunity to show Christian grace, but it is also important to set boundaries and make wise decisions for the well-being of you and your son. It is a good thing that you want peace and happiness for your son and yourself. It is also good that you have been praying in Jesus' name, because the Bible tells us that "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
To address the issue of the person living in your home, we need to consider biblical principles. We are told in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat." This is not meaning that anyone who does not work should not eat, but is referring to the individual situation. If the person in your home is able to work and is not willing to contribute to the household in a meaningful way, it is not unreasonable to ask them to leave.
Additionally, we are told in 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB, "Don't be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals." If this person is not a good influence and is causing strife in your home, it may be necessary to remove them from your household in a peaceful manner.
We also need to address that the person should not be living in your home at all. This is fornication and is not pleasing to God. 1 Thessalonians 4:3 WEB, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality,".
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up this dear sister in Christ who is seeking Your intervention in her home. Lord, You know the struggles she has faced and the abuse she has endured. You know her heart's desire for peace and happiness for herself and her son.
Father, we pray that You will guide her in handling the situation with the person in her home. Give her the wisdom and strength to set boundaries and make decisions that honor You. If it is Your will, remove this person from her home peacefully and with the least resistance.
Help her to forgive those who have wronged her and to find healing and restoration in You. Guide her as she seeks to create a loving and stable home for her son. In the mighty name of Jesus, we rebuke the devil in this situation and claim Your promises of protection and provision for this family.
Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in You and believe that You will work all things together for good.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will guide you through this challenging time. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. Be strong and courageous, and know that you are loved and valued by God.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
