PLEASE REMEMBER ME IN YOUR PRAYERS

We join with you in this prayer for safety and for eternity and we bring your request before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name.
We hear your heart crying out to be kept safe now and even through death to be taken to the better side. The Word assures us that true safety is found in the Lord, for He is our shepherd and our refuge. Psalm 23:1 says The LORD is my shepherd I shall not want, and Psalm 91:1 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We also take comfort that for those who belong to Christ, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, as written in 2 Corinthians 5:8.
We notice your prayer was addressed to God but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and assurance of that better side which is eternal life in heaven with Him. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. The better side is not earned by simply being a good person or by asking in general, but by repenting of our sin and putting our faith in Jesus Christ who died for our sins and rose again. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. John 3:16 promises For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to place your complete trust in Jesus today, to turn from sin and follow Him, to read His Word and walk with Him daily, for that is where lasting safety and peace are found both in this life and in the life to come.

Father in heaven, we lift up this precious soul to You and we ask in Jesus' name that You would keep them safe in Your hand each day. Lord, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to them more deeply and draw them into a saving relationship with Your Son Jesus. Forgive their sins and wash them in the blood of Christ, and give them the assurance that when they close their eyes in this life they will open them in Your presence. Grant them Your peace that passes understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and lead them in Your will all the days of their life. Help them to know that You love them and that You have prepared a place for those who trust in Jesus. We ask that You keep them from fear and fill them with hope, and that they would grow in faith and obedience to You. We pray this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Your prayer has come before us with a touching simplicity, and we have carried it to the throne of grace on your behalf. You ask to be kept safe always, even when you die, and to be received to the better side. This is the very heart of what the gospel holds out to sinners through Jesus Christ.
Know this, that the better side of which you speak is not merely a place to which we go when we die, but a life which begins here as soon as a soul is born again. Eternal life, as our Lord says, is to know the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom He has sent. To accept God as your God in Christ, to trust Him, to rest upon Him, this is to have eternal life already within you. It is not a thing of changes, but the same life which will bloom and come to perfection in glory. He that believes on the Son has everlasting life as a present possession.
This life is not earned by merit, for none of us merits it or ever can. Mere mortal life is a gift of divine mercy, and how much more is eternal life a gift too high for human hands to reach. Jesus says, I give unto them eternal life. It is His gift to His sheep, and what He gives is heavenly life itself, the same life that expands and develops itself in heaven. That life which makes tears of repentance flow, which leads you to call upon God, which causes you to believe in Jesus, this is the life which will go to heaven.
And because it is eternal life, it cannot come to an end. How can that be eternal which comes to an end. Language is not given to conceal truth but to reveal it, and when Christ says eternal, He means a life that never ends. His sheep shall never perish. Lost souls would be glad to be rid of their existence, but Christ gives not mere existence, but a holy and happy life which is a blessing forever. Because He lives, His people shall live also, linked with His life.
So we pray for you that you may not only hope for safety at the last, but may now lay hold on eternal life by confident trust in the Person of Christ. Believe on Him, not on a notion or a feeling, but on Him. Cast your whole care for present and eternal salvation upon Him in unquestioning confidence. This is the faith which saves the soul. No measure of sin in your past can deprive you of this promise if you look to Him.
We have prayed thus for you, that the Lord would keep you in His hand where no one can pluck you out, that He would give you to know Him and to know His Son, that you may have within you even now the beginning of heaven, and that when your last hour comes you may pass, not into uncertainty, but into the presence of Him who is the heaven of heaven, to see Jesus and to be without fault before the throne, kept safe forever. May the Lord grant you to rehearse that heavenly life even now by living in fellowship with Christ, drinking from the river of the water of life, and finding your safety in Him alone.

Your prayer has been heard and we have remembered you before the Lord with thanksgiving for the simplicity and truth of what you have asked.
You asked God to keep you safe always, even in death, and to bring you to the better side when you die. This is the greatest prayer anyone can pray, for it seeks not only safety for the body for a little time, but salvation for the soul forever.
The Scriptures teach us that this great salvation is not like an earthly rescue. God does not only deliver us from troubles in this life, but He has given us deliverance from death itself, the destruction of the power of the devil, and the gift of the kingdom of heaven and everlasting life. This was accomplished by the cross of Christ, which saved and converted the world, drove away error and brought back truth, and has made death no longer death but a sleep for those who belong to Him.
Because of this, we do not need to live in continual fear of death as slaves. The Lord Jesus has opened the gates of heaven that were once closed, and He has made a new and living way for us through His own blood. For those who trust in Him, death is not a terrible end but a passage into the presence of Christ. As He Himself taught, we should not fear those who can harm only the body but cannot harm the soul, but rather rest in the fear and love of God who holds both body and soul in His hands.
So we have prayed for you, that God in His mercy and long suffering would keep you in His care each day, that He would plant faith deep in your heart, and that you would know with full assurance the hope that is in Jesus Christ alone. For there is no other name by which we are saved, and no other way to that better side except through Him who died and rose again and destroyed the power of death.
May the Lord who pricks the heart and gives the Spirit keep you, guard you, and bring you safely at the last into His heavenly kingdom, where you may behold Christ with boldness and joy.
