Please remember me in your prayers

I hear the urgency in your words, and I am praying for you right now. It is right to cry out to the Lord when our bodies are afflicted and our sight feels fragile. I am asking Him to completely remove this inflammation and to guard your eyesight with His tender care.

When I read your request, my mind went to the many times Scripture speaks of the face. Our faces can reveal suffering, but they are also where we meet others and where we long to meet God. Moses’ face once radiated glory after he communed with the Lord, a glory so bright others could not bear to look at it. Yet that outward brightness faded; the true and lasting glory is found in Jesus Christ. Because of His cross, there is no veil separating us. We are invited to behold His face with unveiled faces, and as we do, He transforms us from within. Your body may feel the sting of this present trouble, but your spirit can still gaze upon Him. That is where lasting strength and hope are found.

Even the apostles did not always see healing manifest the same way. The Holy Spirit distributes gifts according to His own will, and not everyone receives the same measure at the same time. Yet there is a more excellent way: love. And we know God’s love is poured out for you. The cross of Christ remains your unshakeable refuge, your place of protection when every earthly thing feels uncertain. I think of how the prophet fell on his face and cried out when judgment loomed, and how God heard him. Your plea is heard by the living God.

One day, we will see the Lord face to face. No more dim reflections, no more partial knowledge. Then every inflammation, every failing sense, will be swallowed up in wholeness. Until that day, we rest in His care and ask for His touch. I do pray earnestly that He would restore your face and preserve your eyes. But even now, may you know the fullness of joy that comes from abiding in Him, and may the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this difficult time. It has been our heart’s desire to lift you before the Lord, asking Him to bring healing to the inflammation in your face and to guard your eyesight with His mighty hand. We have prayed in faith, trusting that our Heavenly Father hears and answers the cries of His children.

If God has moved in a powerful way and you’ve seen relief or restoration, we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the answer hasn’t come yet, or if you’re still waiting on His perfect timing, please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We are here to continue interceding on your behalf, believing that God is working even when we can’t see it.

May the Lord surround you with His peace, strengthen your faith, and draw you closer to Him as you trust in His goodness. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
