Humble Servant of All
Please pray for me as I am questioning some things that God recently helped me to understand regarding spiritual warfare in my life. He helped me to understand recently that since I was a child, I have been attacked by targeted demonic harassment that has intended to cause me to struggle with forgiveness and that much of the evil done to me in my life was done under demonic influence and not the true intentions of those who harmed me. However, for various reasons, I am starting to question whether maybe these people were truly intending to harm me. I'm having a hard day with forgiveness today.

We understand the deep spiritual battle you are facing, and we want to stand with you in prayer and truth as you navigate these heavy revelations. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and one of his greatest weapons is deception—especially in making us doubt what God has already made clear. You shared that the Lord revealed to you the demonic influence behind much of the harm you’ve endured, yet now you’re questioning whether those who hurt you truly intended evil. This hesitation is not from God, for He does not give a spirit of fear or confusion (2 Timothy 1:7), but it is a tactic of the enemy to keep you bound in unforgiveness and bitterness.

Forgiveness is not optional for the believer; it is a command rooted in the very heart of the Gospel. Jesus said in Matthew 6:14-15, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* Unforgiveness is a chain that binds us far more than it affects those who wronged us. It gives the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27) and hinders our prayers (Mark 11:25). Yet forgiveness does not mean excusing sin or pretending harm never happened. It means releasing the debt to God, trusting Him to be the just Judge (Romans 12:19). Even if those who hurt you were fully aware of their actions—whether under demonic influence or not—the call remains the same: forgive, as Christ forgave you (Colossians 3:13).

The fact that you’re wrestling with this shows the Holy Spirit is at work in you, convicting and refining. But beware of the enemy’s lies that whisper, *"What if they didn’t mean it?"* or *"What if I’m wrong?"* These questions can become a snare, keeping you in cycles of doubt and pain. Stand firm on what God has already revealed. He is not a God of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33), and if He showed you the spiritual reality behind these attacks, cling to that truth. The enemy wants you to second-guess God’s word to you so that you remain in bondage. Do not let him succeed.

Let us also remind you that spiritual warfare is very real, and you are not powerless. You have authority in Christ to resist the devil (James 4:7), and he *must* flee. Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), especially the shield of faith to quench the fiery darts of doubt and accusation. When thoughts of unforgiveness arise, capture them and make them obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Declare aloud the truth of God’s word over your mind and heart.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your beloved child who is in the midst of a fierce spiritual battle. Lord, You have already revealed to them the demonic schemes at work in their life, and we ask that You would solidify that revelation in their heart, leaving no room for the enemy’s lies or doubt. Strengthen them by Your Spirit to stand firm in the truth, no matter how loudly the deception screams.

Father, we rebuked the spirit of unforgiveness, bitterness, and confusion trying to take root. These are not from You, and we command them to leave in Jesus’ name. Fill every void with Your peace, love, and clarity. Remind them that forgiveness is not about the offender’s intent but about their own obedience and freedom in You. Help them to release every ounce of pain, anger, and resentment into Your hands, trusting You to vindicate and heal.

Lord, we also pray for divine protection over their mind. The enemy seeks to distort what You have made clear, but we declare that Your truth will prevail. Cover them with the blood of Jesus, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround them with Your angels, and let Your presence be a wall of fire around them (Zechariah 2:5).

Give them a fresh revelation of Your love and the depth of Your forgiveness toward them. Let that love compel them to extend forgiveness to others, not in their own strength but through the power of Your Spirit. Break every chain of bondage, and let them walk in the freedom Christ purchased on the cross.

We also ask for wisdom and discernment. If there are areas where they need to set healthy boundaries or seek godly counsel, lead them clearly. Let them not confuse forgiveness with trust—help them to forgive while still walking in wisdom.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would expose any remaining strongholds in their life. If there are generational curses, ungodly soul ties, or areas of unrepentant sin that have given the enemy legal ground, reveal them and break their power. Fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit, and let them rise up as more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:37).

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. You who began a good work in them will complete it (Philippians 1:6). We trust You to bring healing, restoration, and victory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. The battle is real, but the victory is already won in Christ. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not waver in what He has shown you. If you feel led, fast and pray for breakthrough—there is power in denying the flesh to seek God’s face (Matthew 17:21). You are not alone in this; we are standing with you, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Walk in that truth today.

We're here with you, dear friend. We understand that today is a tough day, with forgiveness weighing heavy on your heart. It's like wrestling with a stubborn knot, isn't it? But remember, forgiveness isn't about excusing the past or ignoring the pain. It's about letting go, trusting God with the justice, and freeing yourself from the chains that bind.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with these words from Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees you, He feels your struggle, and He's right there with you.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Lord, we lift up our friend to You today. Help them to forgive, not because the past was okay, but because You command it. Give them the strength to let go, the courage to trust, and the peace that only You can give. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here for you, every step of the way. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, you're not alone. We're in this together.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting you before the Lord in this deeply personal struggle. Your transparency about the spiritual battles you’ve faced—even from childhood—and the doubts now creeping in has weighed heavily on our hearts as we’ve prayed for you. We know how painful it is to wrestle with forgiveness, especially when the wounds run deep and the enemy seeks to distort truth, sowing confusion about the intentions of those who hurt you.

In these days since your request, we’ve continued to intercede, asking God to replace your uncertainty with His perfect peace and to renew your mind with His truth. The Lord has already revealed so much to you about the spiritual forces at work, and we believe He will not leave you in this place of questioning. He is faithful to complete the work He began in you, including the hard but holy work of forgiveness—not because those who harmed you deserve it, but because Christ has called you to freedom from bitterness.

If the Lord has brought clarity, comfort, or resolution in any way, we’d love for you to share a praise report so we can rejoice with you over His faithfulness. But if this burden still feels heavy, if the doubts linger or the pain remains sharp, please don’t hesitate to post again. We are here to stand with you, to remind you of God’s promises when the enemy whispers lies, and to keep praying until you sense His breakthrough.

May the Holy Spirit surround you with His presence today, reminding you that you are not defined by the harm done to you but by the love of the Father who sees you, fights for you, and will never abandon you. Keep seeking Him, dear sibling—He is near to the brokenhearted, and He will lead you through this valley into His light.

We are praying for you still. In Jesus’ name.
