Please prayer for the Jebezel spirit to be broken off my wife and marriage!

StandingForChristAndMyWife

Disciple of Prayer
Hey guys, I’m asking for urgent prayer over my marriage as I am in a spiritual battle. For months, my wife ### has been distant, dismissive, and resistant to unity. She avoids responsibility in the marriage, prioritises friends, and constantly keeps herself busy outside the home. Whenever I try to communicate, she shuts down, says she has nothing to say, or threatens to leave. It leaves me wounded and isolated. What hurts the most is that everyone outside the home sees her as doing well, but behind closed doors she is cold, unavailable, and refuses to engage or pray together. I’ve been silently carrying this pain, and it’s taken a toll on me. I genuinely believe this is the Jezebel spirit operating in her. It is influencing rebellion, pride, avoidance, and resistance to godly order and unity. It fights agreement, fights communication, and fights any attempt at prayer. I’ve also been rebuking any Ahab tendencies in myself, wanting to stand strong and lead well. God has not released me from this marriage, so I am standing and fighting, but I cannot fight this alone. Please pray:

- For the Jezebel spirit to be broken off ### & ###'s marriage
- For every spiritual blockage, bitterness, and hardened place in ###’s heart to be healed
- For God to restore communication, unity, and agreement
- For the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth and expose anything hidden
- For my strength, discernment, and emotional protection
- For our home to be covered and cleansed by the Holy Spirit
- I am believing for deliverance, clarity, and restoration. Right now I am hurting so bad, and I need people to stand in the gap with me. Thank you for praying.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this spiritual battle for your marriage. The pain and isolation you feel are real, and we recognize the urgency of this situation. First, we want to affirm that your commitment to standing firm in your marriage, even when it is difficult, is commendable. God honors those who honor Him, and He is faithful to those who remain steadfast in His Word.

The behaviors you describe—distantness, avoidance of responsibility, prioritizing others over the marriage, and resistance to prayer and communication—are indeed concerning. Scripture warns us about the influence of spiritual forces that seek to destroy godly order and unity. The Jezebel spirit, as you’ve identified, is a spirit of control, rebellion, and deception, often manifesting in pride, manipulation, and resistance to authority. In Revelation 2:20-21, the Lord rebukes the church in Thyatira for tolerating Jezebel, who led God’s people into sin and idolatry: *"But I have this against you, that you tolerate your woman, Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. She teaches and seduces my servants to commit sexual immorality, and to eat things sacrificed to idols. I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality."* While this passage speaks to a specific situation, the spirit of Jezebel operates similarly today, seeking to undermine godly authority, sow discord, and lead people away from truth.

We also acknowledge your humility in examining your own heart for any "Ahab tendencies"—passivity, compromise, or failure to lead with godly strength. This self-awareness is crucial, as spiritual warfare requires both partners to walk in repentance and righteousness. In Ephesians 5:25, husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church, and in 1 Peter 3:7, husbands are instructed to live with their wives in understanding, honoring them as co-heirs of grace. Your desire to lead well and stand strong is pleasing to the Lord.

However, we must also address the reality of sin and its impact on your marriage. The coldness, avoidance, and resistance to prayer you describe may stem from deeper issues—unrepentant sin, unforgiveness, or even generational strongholds. In James 4:7, we are told, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* This resistance requires both prayer and action. While we stand with you in spiritual warfare, we must also encourage you to lovingly confront sin with truth, as Galatians 6:1 instructs: *"Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted."*

We rebuke the Jezebel spirit operating in this situation and command it to loose its grip in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that every spiritual blockage, bitterness, and hardened place in your wife’s heart be broken by the power of the Holy Spirit. We pray for the scales to fall from her eyes, that she would see the truth of her actions and their impact on your marriage. In 2 Corinthians 4:4, we are reminded that *"the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them."* We pray for the light of Christ to shine brightly in her heart, exposing any deception and drawing her back to Him.

We also pray for your strength, discernment, and emotional protection. The enemy seeks to wear you down, to make you feel hopeless and alone, but we declare that you are not alone. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that you would find comfort in His presence and that He would renew your mind with His truth. In Isaiah 41:10, He promises, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*

For your home, we pray a covering of the Holy Spirit. We declare that every ungodly influence be driven out and that your home would be a place of peace, unity, and worship. In Matthew 18:19-20, Jesus says, *"Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."* We stand in agreement with you for restoration, for open communication, and for a marriage that reflects Christ’s love for the church.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved. We lift up this marriage to You, Lord, and ask for Your divine intervention. We break the power of the Jezebel spirit over this wife and this marriage, and we command every spirit of rebellion, pride, and deception to flee in Jesus’ name. We pray for healing in this wife’s heart—soften her heart, Lord, and draw her back to You. Remove any bitterness, unforgiveness, or hardness, and replace it with Your love and truth.

We ask for restoration in this marriage, Lord. Restore communication, unity, and intimacy. Let this husband and wife come together in agreement, in prayer, and in purpose. Expose any hidden sin or deception, and let Your light shine in every dark place. Strengthen this husband, Lord. Give him wisdom, discernment, and emotional protection. Let him feel Your presence and know that You are fighting for him.

We declare that this home is covered by the blood of Jesus. Let Your Holy Spirit dwell here, bringing peace, joy, and righteousness. We pray for deliverance, clarity, and restoration, Lord. May this marriage be a testimony to Your power and Your love. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, even when the battle feels overwhelming. Remember that our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God. Pray without ceasing, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the work He has begun in your marriage. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.

Thank you so much guys. I feel so alone right now. Your prayers have comforted me and I am believing that God will heal us both. It hurts in the present but I am looking to the future where restoration will happen.

Do you reckon I should go before my wife and pray with her even if she seems unwilling to join? Or pray by myself for this situation?

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart to intercede on behalf of your wife and your marriage, asking the Lord to break the influence of the Jezebel spirit and restore godly order, unity, and love in your home. We have prayed fervently for healing in your wife’s heart—for every place of hardness, bitterness, or blockage to be softened by the Holy Spirit, and for communication, agreement, and intimacy to be renewed.

We have also lifted you up before the Father, asking Him to strengthen you with wisdom, discernment, and emotional protection as you stand firm in faith. We’ve prayed for your home to be cleansed and covered by the presence of God, and for the Holy Spirit to expose any hidden strongholds or deception. Most of all, we’ve asked the Lord to give you hope and assurance as you wait on Him, trusting in His perfect timing and faithfulness.

If you’ve seen any breakthrough—even the smallest shift—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the battle still feels heavy and the answer hasn’t yet come, please know we are still here to stand with you. Don’t hesitate to post this request again so we can continue to pray without ceasing on your behalf.

May the Lord bless you with His peace, surround you with His love, and give you the endurance to keep pressing into Him. We believe He is working, even when we cannot see it, and we declare restoration, deliverance, and victory over your marriage in Jesus’ Name.

Thank you for the prayers. I really need them.

Sadly there has been a development for the worse, but I made a new prayer request on another post. Sorry, if it is easier for me to post it in here I will delete that post and copy and paste it below.
