Beloved of All
Warlocks and witches are trying to kill me. Please recite this every day: Lord, I will read “Save and Protect” for the author of these lines and for myself. And also—the very best wording that the author of these lines has ever had, has now, or will ever have—with maximum speed and the best result. Or the very best wording that the Lord has ever had, has now, or will ever have—as quickly as possible and with the best result. Lord, please choose the best wording from these two, as quickly as possible and with the best result. From the most important to the least important. Lord, perhaps You will add something. Save and protect (100 times) --- Before going to sleep, thank God for His help. This will make your prayer more effective.

We hear the fear and distress in your request and we want to stand with you in prayer, but we also want to lovingly correct what does not align with Scripture so that you can find true peace and protection in Christ.

We understand you feel targeted by spiritual evil, and the Bible does teach that there is a real spiritual battle. Yet we do not need to be terrified of warlocks or witches, because those who belong to Jesus are under His authority and protection. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. And 1 John 4:4 gives us confidence that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. Also 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. And Romans 8:31 asks If God is for us, who can be against us.

We will not recite a formula or repeat Save and Protect one hundred times as an incantation, because God does not hear us because of carefully chosen wording or repetition or speed. Jesus Himself taught us in Matthew 6:7 In praying, don't use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking. God is not manipulated by the perfect wording, past, present or future, nor by praying something one hundred times. He hears us because we come through His Son. Trying to find the very best wording to force a result can become a form of superstition, and we want to gently rebuke that and point you to simple, sincere, faith-filled prayer in the name of Jesus. The Lord desires a trusting heart, not a magical phrase. Psalm 91:1-2 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.

We also notice your request speaks of Lord but does not mention Jesus Christ. We want to make clear that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and protection from evil. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus, we urge you to believe that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. When we belong to Him, we do not need to fear curses or witchcraft, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as 2 Timothy 1:7 says.

Thanking God before sleep is good and biblical, but not as a technique to make a prayer more effective, as if God must be persuaded. We thank Him because He is good and faithful, and we trust His will, whether we see immediate deliverance or not.

So together we pray for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one who is afraid. We ask You to surround them with Your presence and let them dwell in Your secret place and rest in Your shadow. We ask You to guard them from the evil one, to break every assignment of darkness against them, and to fill their heart with perfect peace instead of fear. Help them to resist the devil and stand firm in faith, knowing James 4:7 that when we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us. Teach them to put on the whole armor of God, to read Your Word, to pray sincerely from the heart and not with vain repetitions, and to trust not in formulas but in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. If they do not yet know Jesus as Savior, draw them to Him today and save them. Let Your will be done in their life, and let them know they are protected not by words they repeat but by the blood of Jesus and Your faithful love. We thank You even now for hearing us, for You are our refuge and fortress. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We encourage you to stay close to Jesus, to read Scripture daily, especially Psalm 91 and Ephesians 6:10-18, to pray in your own sincere words in Jesus name, and to fellowship with a Bible believing church where you can receive support. If fear persists, reach out to a trusted pastor for prayer and counsel, and turn away from any involvement with occult practices. The Lord is near and He is your protector.

We hear how heavy and frightening this feels for you, and we are grateful you reached out so we can pray with you. Feeling unsafe, especially at night, can be exhausting and lonely.

You do not need perfect wording or repeating a phrase a hundred times for God to hear you. He hears simple, honest prayers from a trusting heart, even a few quiet words. Thanking Him before sleep as you mentioned can be a peaceful way to end the day, not because it makes a prayer more effective as a formula, but because it helps us rest in remembering He is near and cares for us.

It can make a real difference not to carry this fear alone. This week would you share how you have been feeling in person with one trusted person, a pastor, a mature believer, or a counselor you trust, someone who can pray with you regularly and stay connected with you. Staying connected with caring people helps when fear tries to isolate us. If the fear is making it hard to sleep or to feel safe through the day, please also reach out to a doctor or counselor alongside prayer, so you have support for both heart and body.

We are praying for you now.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You see the fear and weariness they are carrying. We ask You to give Your peace, clear wisdom, and the comfort of knowing You are present. Surround them with caring, steady people and guide them to the help and rest they need. We trust them into Your loving care. In Jesus name, amen.

Your cry has come before us, and we have heard the heaviness and fear that rests upon you. You speak of those who would harm you by dark arts, and of a dread that you are beset by powers that seek your life. Let it never be forgotten that in all that God does, He acts from good reasons, and that no power of darkness can go beyond what He permits.

The Scriptures teach us that troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up from the ground, but the Lord Himself sits as a Refiner at the door of the furnace. If you are His child through faith in Jesus Christ, you are not left to the will of warlocks or witches. We read, He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Deliverance from the power of sin and from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father, altogether and alone, for it.

You ask that we should repeat many times a set form of words, counting it one hundred times, as though by much speaking and by a chosen wording we might compel God to hear with maximum speed and best result. This we cannot do in good conscience, for our Lord Jesus has warned us against vain repetitions, as though we should be heard for our much speaking. God does not hear us because we have found a perfect formula, but because He has found a ransom. Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance of a sinner from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it. That ransom is not a sentence we invent, but the blood of Christ shed for sinners.

Fear not, for so the Lord speaks again and again to His people. Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. Fear dishonors God, for it doubts the arm which piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. Why should you fear those who practice darkness when your life is hidden with Christ. If sin is taken away, why need we fear. Has He delivered us from the power of darkness, then He will certainly help us in our daily troubles. Did He give His own dear Son to put away our sin, and will He not keep you in safety according to His will.

We will pray for you, not with an incantation to be recited by number, but as those who come to the mercy seat through Jesus Christ alone. Our prayer for you is this, that the Lord who looks down from the height of His sanctuary would be gracious unto you, and give commandment to save you, that He would keep back your soul from the Pit, that He would deliver you from all fear, from the assaults of evil, and from the adversary, and bring you into the peace which comes from trusting His Son. We ask that you may be able to say with the Psalmist, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord, and that you may know that God has not erased your name from His heart or His hands, nor yielded you up to your enemy's power.

Lay aside trust in any special wording or in counting prayers, and look to Christ alone. Confess your sin to Him, trust His finished work upon the cross, and seek Him in simple, heartfelt prayer. Read the Scriptures not as a charm, but to know Him. Give thanks to God indeed, not because it makes a formula more effective, but because a thankful heart is the fit response of one who has received mercy. If you have not yet fled to Christ for salvation, do so now, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

Seek the fellowship of a faithful church where the Word is preached and where you may be known and watched over. Tell a pastor there of these fears, that you may be prayed for and counselled face to face. And when fear rises in the night, remember that God loves the mercy seat and is there to meet those who come to Him through Jesus. He has not forsaken them that fear Him, and He never will.

May the Lord grant you to rest not in words repeated many times, but in the One who lives and was dead and behold is alive forevermore, and who says to His own, Fear not.
