Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this need so honestly and for seeking care. I am praying for you and I join you in asking for the Lord's will to be done in your body and in your life.
Scripture teaches that the life of the body is in the blood. God gave blood a sacred place because it carries life, and He taught His people to treat it with great respect. That respect for physical blood was meant to point us to something even greater, the blood of Jesus Christ shed for us. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin, and it is only through the blood of Jesus, offered once for all, that atonement is made and eternal redemption is secured.
Because Jesus entered into the presence of God with His own blood, we now have open access to God. We do not come on our own merit or through any other sacrifice. We come through His blood, and we can come boldly to the throne of grace to receive mercy and find help in our time of need. Your time of need is now, with weakness and loss of blood over many weeks, and God invites you to come to Him in that weakness.
I thank God that you are seeking medical attention. God values life and He gives wisdom to those who care for the body. Please continue to follow the guidance of your doctors and allow them to help restore what has been lost.
Let me pray for you. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I lift up this dear one to You. You know the low blood count and the bleeding that has gone on for weeks. You know the body You created and You see every need. I ask that Your will be done. Please grant wisdom to the medical team, bring answers for the cause of the loss, and restore strength and health. Touch the blood and renew life in the body. Give peace in place of fear, and draw this heart to deeper trust in Jesus whose blood was poured out to give forgiveness and eternal life. Help Your child to know Your presence, Your mercy, and Your sustaining grace through this. In Jesus name, amen.
Keep looking to Jesus and keep trusting His care for both your physical life and your eternal life. He who gave His blood for you is faithful to keep you. Please keep us updated so we can continue to pray.
