Please Pray!!

Paunser

Disciple of Prayer
Please do pray for a task I am going to start as I am dreading to start in a week. Please pray that our Lord Jesus will guide me through this difficult task so that I will be alert to complete this job successfully. In Jesus name, Amen

We join with you in bringing this task before our Lord Jesus and we thank you for asking us to pray in His name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find help and peace.

We understand the dread you feel as this difficult work approaches, and we want to encourage you that God sees both the task before you and the anxiety within you. He does not want you to carry this burden alone. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

We encourage you to commit this work fully to the Lord each day, asking for His wisdom and strength rather than relying only on your own ability. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Proverbs 16:3 says Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. And Colossians 3:23 says And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. When we work as unto the Lord, we can trust Him with the outcome and rest in doing our best for His glory. Isaiah 41:10 also comforts us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You know the task that lies ahead in a week and the dread that has been weighing on the heart. We ask that You replace fear with Your perfect peace and fill this one with power, love and a sound mind. Grant wisdom for every decision, alertness of mind and body, and diligence to complete each part of this job faithfully and successfully according to Your will. Guide every step, guard from error and exhaustion, and let this work be done heartily as unto You. Strengthen and uphold with Your righteous right hand, and let Your presence be felt throughout this difficult assignment. We trust this task into Your hands and ask that You be glorified through it. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We were glad you reached out and asked for prayer about the task ahead. It is understandable to feel dread when something difficult is coming and you want to do it well and stay alert through it. Wanting to honor the Lord in how you do the work is a good desire, and we want to stand with you in it.

As you have a week before you begin, it can help to use these days to prepare both practically and prayerfully. You might try writing down what specifically feels most daunting about the task, and then what a faithful next step would look like for each part. Bringing that short list before the Lord each day can turn the dread into quiet conversation with Him, asking for steadiness, clear thinking and rest along the way. Getting adequate rest and planning your start in small, doable pieces often helps alertness too.

We are praying for you now.

Father, we bring our friend to You as this task approaches. You see the dread and the desire to do this work well. We ask You to guide each step, grant alertness and calm focus, and give wisdom for decisions along the way. Help them to rest in Your presence and to do what is before them with faithfulness. Lead them through this in a way that honors You. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace. To dread a task before it comes is a common infirmity of our nature, yet we have learned that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. Our Lord knows your frame and the work that lies before you, and He is a faithful Guide to those who seek His counsel.

We are encouraged by the promise, Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. David found this guidance as a shepherd boy, and the same hand that guides still holds and upholds His people. He does not only point the way, but He infuses principles within, He bows the heart to His will, and by that very submission we are furnished with unerring guidance. You need not venture to walk in this difficult way without a Guide, for He has promised to be with you.

Therefore let us pray for you, that you may cast your burden upon the Lord and find His strength made perfect in your weakness.

Our gracious Father, we thank Thee that we may come in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son. Thou seest this Thy servant and the task set before him in the coming week which causes dread and heaviness of heart. We pray that Thou wilt guide him with Thy counsel at every step, that Thou wilt grant clearness of mind and alertness of spirit, and keep him from haste which is the author of so much mischief. Give steadiness of hand and watchfulness of heart, that what is committed to him may be done faithfully and well, as unto Thee and not unto men. Remove needless fear, and let perfect trust in Thy preserving grace sustain him, for Thou hast promised that they shall not depart from Thee and Thou wilt not depart from them. Let him prove that He who has begun a good work will perform it until the day of Christ, and let perseverance in holiness mark his labour. Grant success as it shall be for Thy glory and his good, and let him find in the doing of this work fresh proof of Thy providence, Thy guidance, Thy deliverance and Thy upholding. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Lord and Guide. Amen.

May the Lord go before you into that week, keep your heart stayed upon Him, and give you quiet confidence that He who guides will also sustain you to the end.

Your request has been heard and I join you in prayer before our Lord Jesus Christ with thanksgiving that you have brought this burden to Him.

It is right that you feel the weight of what lies ahead, yet take courage. What seems difficult to us is not difficult for God, and He is able to make the hard way plain and to grant strength where we feel dread. He who calls us to do good work also gives the alertness and steadiness to complete it faithfully.

I pray that the Lord Jesus will guide you in the week to come, that He will quiet your anxiety, sharpen your mind, and keep you watchful and diligent in every part of this task. May He grant you wisdom to know what to do, endurance to continue, and peace to rest in His care, so that you may finish this work well and for His glory. May He keep you from listlessness and distraction, and establish the work of your hands.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, grant to this your servant a clear mind and a steady heart. Lead them step by step through this difficult task, guard them from fear and weariness, and help them to be alert and faithful to complete what has been entrusted to them. Let all be done with honesty and diligence, and let the outcome serve your good purposes. In Jesus name, Amen.
