Disciple of Prayer
I’m physically and mentally disabled. I’m living in an assisted adult facility. I have a very limited fixed income. I’m not sure how to pay for it, but I’m wanting to pay a visit to my mom for the holidays. May God’s Will Be Done. I ask this in Jesus’ Precious and Holy Name. Amen.

We are deeply moved by your request and we join with you in seeking the Lord's will for this desire of your heart to visit your mother for the holidays. We thank you for coming to us and for asking in the precious and holy name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As it is written, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. We rejoice that you know Him.

We hear the weight you carry with physical and mental disability, living in an assisted facility, and facing the very real concern of limited means. Please know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God, Psalm 139:14, and that He sees you, loves you, and is near to you. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18. Your desire to honor your mother is beautiful and pleasing to God, for the Scripture says Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you. Exodus 20:12.

We also know the anxiety that can come with financial uncertainty, and we are encouraged to bring all of our cares to Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6. Our God knows your needs and He is able to provide. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. He has promised Fear not, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 and Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that You know every detail of this life, every physical struggle, every burden of the mind, and every financial limitation. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. We ask that You would comfort and strengthen our friend daily, reminding them that they are held in Your hands and never forgotten. We pray for Your perfect will to be done regarding this visit with their mother. If it is Your will for this reunion to happen this holiday season, we ask You to make a way where there seems to be no way, to provide the funds, the safe transportation, and the health and peace needed for the journey. We pray for the staff at the assisted facility and for any family, friends, or local believers who might be able to help with planning or resources. We pray also for their mother, that You would bless her, keep her, and fill her heart with Your peace as well. Above all, let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified, and grant a deep assurance that You are working all things together for good for those who love You. Romans 8:28. We ask this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to share this desire openly with the staff or social worker at your facility and with your mother, as the Lord often provides through the hands of His people and through the community He has placed around us. We also encourage you to speak with a local church family if you have one, as many would be honored to help make such a visit possible or to pray and seek practical solutions with you. Continue to cast your cares upon Him, trusting that whether the answer is to go now or to wait, His love and provision for you remain steadfast. We are praying that God will grant you peace that surpasses all understanding as you wait upon Him. Philippians 4:7.

We were thankful to read your note and hear how much seeing your mom for the holidays means to you. Living in an assisted facility on a fixed income while navigating physical and mental disabilities brings daily challenges, and wanting to make that trip takes real love and effort.

We hear both the hope in your request and the worry about how to make it happen, and that you are holding it with open hands to God's will. Holidays can stir up extra loneliness and pressure when we long to be with family, especially when travel and finances feel uncertain.

One gentle next step that may help is to talk early with a trusted staff member or social worker at your facility. They often know about local resources for residents, like reduced fare transit, community volunteer drivers, or assistance from a local church, and can help you think through costs and timing with your mom. Even clarifying what is possible early can bring peace, and if an in person visit isn't feasible, planning a special call or small celebration together can still honor that connection.

We are praying for you in this season and we care about you.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus name. You see his love for his mom and the limits he lives with each day. Provide for his needs, give wisdom to those helping him plan, and guard his heart with Your nearness and peace. Let Your will be done and let him feel Your care. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been brought before the Lord with care and tenderness, and we join you in laying it at the throne of grace.

We hear the burden you carry, living with physical and mental infirmity in an assisted facility, and managing on a very limited and fixed income, while your heart longs to see your dear mother this holiday season. That desire to honour your mother is comely and right in the sight of God, and He knows both your love for her and the straits in which you find yourself.

We will pray that the Lord, who is your Provider and who knows your needs before you ask Him, will make a way for you if it be His wise and gracious will. If He opens the door, that He would supply what is needed for the journey, grant you strength of body and peace of mind for the travel, and keep you and your mother in safety. If in His providence He orders it otherwise, that He would grant you contentment in His will, comfort you in your place, and make His presence near to you and to your mother, so that neither distance nor want shall separate you from His love.

May the God of all comfort sustain you day by day, supply your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus, and give you a quiet confidence that He does all things well. We thank Him that you have committed this matter to His will, and we trust Him with you to do that which is best.

Father, in the precious and holy name of Jesus our Saviour, hear this our brother and sister who longs to see their mother. Thou knowest their infirmities, their dwelling, and their small store. Look upon them in mercy, provide as Thou seest fit, and let Thy will be done in this longing as in all things. Give peace, supply need, and keep both child and mother in Thy tender care. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your request and for allowing us to pray with you. We have lifted you up before the Lord, asking for His care and provision over every part of this desire to visit your mother for the holidays.

We pray that God, who sees your situation and knows your needs, will make a way according to His perfect will. We ask Him to provide for the cost of travel, to give you strength in body and peace of mind, and to grant wisdom as you consider the practical steps with the staff at your facility and with your family. If it is His will for you to go, we pray He will open doors that no one can shut and supply what is needed from His abundant resources. If He leads in another way, we pray He will give you deep peace and another way to show love to your mother during this season.

We thank God that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the sure hope of being heard. We pray that you will continue to trust His goodness and His timing, knowing that He cares for you and is near to all who call on Him.

Father, in the precious and holy name of Jesus we bring this need to You. You know the limits of a fixed income and the challenges of living with disability. Provide what is needed, guard health and safety, and let Your will be done in this matter. Comfort and encourage both this dear one and his mother with Your presence, whether together in person or still connected in love across the distance. Give wisdom to all who can help with planning, and fill the heart with Your peace that passes understanding. Amen.
