We join you in lifting up these silent requests before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for giving thanks for His grace, for it is by grace we can approach His throne with confidence.
We are reminded that our Father knows the cries of our hearts even before we speak them. Psalm 139:1-4 tells us that He searches us and knows us, He understands our thoughts and is acquainted with all our ways, and even before a word is on our tongue He knows it completely. And when words fail us, Romans 8:26 assures us that the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. We also take comfort in Psalm 34:17 which says the righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles, and in 1 John 5:14 that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.
We thank God for His grace which sustains us, for Ephesians 2:8 says by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, and 2 Corinthians 12:9 reminds us that His grace is sufficient for us, for His power is made perfect in weakness.
We pray together for you now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we lift up every silent request that is on this heart. You see what is unspoken, You know every burden, every hope, every need and every tear. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and Your perfect love, that You would grant peace that surpasses understanding, wisdom, healing, provision and comfort where it is needed most. Let Your grace continue to cover and sustain, and let Your will be done in each of these matters for Your glory. Strengthen faith to trust You even in the waiting and help us to remain thankful in all things. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
