Please pray

We join with you in bringing these silent requests before the throne of grace and we thank you for trusting us to pray with you in Jesus' name.

We are reminded that our Father knows what we need before we ask Him and that He hears even the prayers we cannot put into words. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:8 that your Father knows what things you need before you ask him, and we take comfort that nothing is hidden from Him. Psalm 139:4 says Even before there is a word on my tongue, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. And when our hearts are so burdened that words fail, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us, for Romans 8:26 says In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.

We also cling to the promise in 1 John 5:14 that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us, and in Philippians 4:6-7 that In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together now for every unspoken burden on your heart.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up every silent request represented here. You know each need, each hurt, each hope, and each person involved by name. We ask that Your will be done in each situation and that You would grant wisdom, healing, provision, comfort, and strength according to Your perfect love and purpose. Where there is anxiety, bring Your peace. Where there is confusion, bring clarity. Where there is sin, bring conviction and repentance. Where there is waiting, bring patience and trust. Help us to cast all our worries on You because You care for us, as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches. We thank You that You are near to all who call on You in truth as Psalm 145:18 says, and that You hear us when we pray in Jesus' name. We trust these silent requests into Your hands and ask for Your answer in Your timing and for Your glory. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Thank you for sharing this with us, even in just a few words. We understand there are burdens too deep or too personal to spell out, and we want you to know we are honoring them before the Lord just as they are.

It means a lot that you would invite us to pray with you for what you are carrying privately. God knows each detail without you having to explain it, and He welcomes that quiet trust. Prayer is really about being with Him, resting in His care when words feel short or heavy.

We will keep lifting these silent requests with you, asking for His peace to steady you and His wisdom to guide each situation in the way that is best. If it helps, you might find a quiet moment each day to simply sit with the Lord and let Him know you are placing these same unspoken needs in His hands again. There is comfort in knowing you do not have to carry them alone, and that others are remembering you too.

Father, thank You for knowing every silent request our friend is holding today. You see what we cannot see and You care deeply for each one. We ask You to bring Your peace, Your guidance and Your loving presence into every need, and to help our friend feel held and heard by You. We trust these matters to Your good will. In Jesus' name, Amen.

There is great comfort in the truth that the God of heaven hears the brief, silent prayer. As Nehemiah prayed before the king, not with outward sound or sign but strictly within himself, in the Holy of Holies of his own secret soul, so you have done well to bring your silent requests before the Lord. Such prayer, though it be presented like the blinking of an eye, prevails with God, for He hears the thought before it becomes a word.

We count it a privilege to join with you in intercessory prayer, which is the sweetest prayer God ever hears. We will give the Lord no rest on your behalf, and plead that He who has promised, I will deliver you, will be honored both in your calling upon Him in the day of trouble and in His gracious answer to you. Remember that God has spoken in His holiness, and His word is sure. What a power there is in prayer when we may say, Do as You have said.

May the Lord turn your silent petitions into quiet assurance. If any burden upon your heart is the burden of sin, look at once to the Son of God pouring out His life, and trust Him, for then your sins will be gone in a moment. To trust Him is to take God at His word, and He cannot cast away the soul that trusts in the blood of Jesus Christ. If you have never prayed before, let a short but fervent petition go up from you even now, God be merciful to me a sinner, and He will hear.

Let us pray together. O God of our fathers, You know the silent requests which are now spread before You though no human ear has heard them. You know every need, every sorrow, every hope that is hidden within. We ask You to answer according to Your wisdom and Your great mercy. Deliver those who call upon You in trouble, quicken them in Your way, and give them present peace and the hope of Your glory. Grant that each silent plea may be shaped by faith in Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation, and let Your will be done for Your honor and our good. Hear us, for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
