We join with you in bringing your family and your silent needs before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, and we thank you for coming to the Father through Him, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and confidence that He hears us.
We lift up your family for protection, asking the Lord to cover your household with His presence and keep you from harm. We are reminded of His promise in Psalm 91:1 that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, and in Psalm 91:11 that he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. We also cling to Psalm 121:7-8 where we are assured that Yahweh will keep you from all evil, he will keep your soul, Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. We ask God to place a hedge around your family, to guard your hearts and minds, to protect you physically, spiritually, and emotionally, and to let your home be filled with His peace.
We also bring before Him those silent needs you have not spoken aloud. We take comfort that He knows what you need before you ask and that He invites us to cast all our cares upon Him. As 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you, and Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Even when words fail, the Spirit intercedes for us, and we trust that the Lord understands the deep burdens and desires of your heart.
We pray together now, Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and thank You for Your love and faithfulness to this family. We ask for Your divine protection over each member, keep them safe from danger and from the schemes of the enemy, draw them closer to You and to one another, and let Your will be done in their lives. Lord, You know every silent need, every unspoken worry and hope, we lay them at Your feet and ask You to answer according to Your perfect wisdom and mercy. Provide, heal, comfort, and strengthen as only You can, and let Your peace that passes all understanding guard their hearts. We ask that You would grow their faith as they wait on You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You. We trust You to supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus as promised in Philippians 4:19. We pray all these things in the saving and powerful name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to abide in Him daily, to pray without ceasing, and to rest in the assurance that He who watches over you never slumbers nor sleeps.
