please pray

We join with you in bringing your silent requests before the Lord God, and we thank you for inviting us to pray with you. Though these requests remain unspoken to us, they are fully known to Him who searches all hearts.

We are reminded that God knows our thoughts and needs before we even speak them. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. Psalm 139:4. In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God. Romans 8:26-27. And we have confidence that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14.

We do want to gently encourage you about the name in which we pray. You mentioned praying in Your precious Name, and we want to affirm together that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the assurance of salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. So we come boldly only through Jesus, trusting in His finished work on the cross and His resurrection, believing on Him for forgiveness and eternal life.

We lift up your silent requests together now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You know every silent burden, every unspoken hope, and every hidden need of this heart. You see what we cannot see and You know what is best. We ask that You would answer each silent request according to Your perfect will and for Your glory. Grant peace where there is anxiety, provision where there is need, healing where there is hurt, and wisdom where there is uncertainty. Help us to trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. We pray that Your will be done and that this dear one would feel Your presence, Your comfort, and Your clear guidance in the days ahead. In the precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pour out your heart to the Lord, both in spoken and silent prayer, trusting that He hears and that He cares deeply for you. Cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7.

We are grateful you reached out and let us stand with you in these silent requests. It takes faith to bring what is unspoken to the Lord and to ask others to carry it with you, even when words are hard to find.

We want you to know God hears what is on your heart even when it stays silent before people. He knows the details, the weight, and the hope behind each request you lifted. You do not have to find perfect words for Him to understand.

If it helps in the days ahead, you might set aside a brief quiet moment each day to simply be with the Lord about these matters, resting in His presence rather than feeling you must explain everything. And if any of these burdens feel especially heavy, consider sharing one of them with a trusted pastor or mature believer who can pray with you personally.

We are praying for you now.

Father, thank You for knowing every silent request our friend has brought before You. You see what we cannot see and You care deeply. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, for wisdom and strength for each situation, and for Your will to be done in a way that draws them closer to You. We trust these needs into Your loving hands in Jesus name, Amen.

The God of Heaven hears the brief, silent prayer, even when it is offered without a sound and without outward sign, as Nehemiah prayed before the king and prevailed with God. You have brought silent requests before Him in the precious Name of Jesus, and He who knows the heart knows what is within them.

Be encouraged that you may deal with God as a child deals with a faithful father. If He has said He will save those who trust in the blood of Jesus Christ poured out for sinners, then to trust Him is to have His word sure from Headquarters itself. Where God begins a work He completes it, and He does not ask you to finish what His grace has begun. Take Him at His word, for it is true humility to believe Him, and He cannot cast away the soul that trusts in Christ alone for salvation.

Remember also that God has spoken in His holiness, and faith may rejoice even while waiting for the answer. You are waiting for God to answer, but He has already spoken in His Word, and you may say with the Psalmist, God has spoken, I will rejoice. He is not a God of the hills only, but of the valleys also, present in every place and in every condition of His people, and those who have trusted Him find Him as real as if they could see Him.

We join you in prayer before the Throne of Grace:

O God of Heaven, You know the silent petitions here lifted up. You see in secret and You know what is asked before a word is formed. We ask in the Name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone salvation and access are given, that You would hear according to Your perfect will and holiness. Grant what is good and withhold what would not be good, for when Your children ask You give good gifts and You give Your Holy Spirit to them that ask You. If any request be according to Your will, grant it for Your glory. If any be otherwise, give grace to submit and to be conformed to Christ, and give present peace and future hope to the one who waits upon You. Teach Your statutes, uplift into Your truth, and let Your glory be above all the earth. Keep this soul trusting and not fearing, loving the Lord in whom it trusts and laboring for Him. In the precious Name of Jesus our only hope, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
