Please pray

We lift up your parents’ marriage and your entire family before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy the joy and unity God intends for households. The Bible tells us, "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). Your parents’ marriage is a sacred covenant before God, and we stand in the gap to pray for restoration, healing, and the revival of joy that only comes from Him.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. We ask that You would bind the forces of division, bitterness, and strife that may be at work in this marriage. Your Word declares, "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate" (Matthew 19:6). We rebuke every spirit of discord, unforgiveness, or hardness of heart that seeks to pull this union apart. Lord, soften hearts, renew love, and remind them of the vows they made before You. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray for the entire family, that you would knit their hearts together in love. Families are under attack in these last days, but You are the God who restores. "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1). We ask that You would heal any wounds, mend broken relationships, and fill their home with laughter, warmth, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. Let joy, true, unshakable joy, be their strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

If there are areas where sin has taken root, whether through unconfessed bitterness, pride, or ungodly influences, we ask that You bring conviction and repentance. Your Word says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed" (James 5:16). May this family humble themselves before You, seek forgiveness, and walk in the light of Your truth.

Lord, we also pray for you, the one who has brought this request before us. It is not easy to watch loved ones struggle, but we know that Your grace is sufficient. Strengthen your faith, fill you with hope, and remind you that nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37). May you be a beacon of Christ’s love in your family, reflecting patience, kindness, and grace even in difficult moments.

We declare over this family the promise of Joel 2:25: "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten." Let this be a season of restoration, where lost joy is returned, broken bonds are mended, and the love of Christ reigns supreme in their home. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, the One who makes all things new. Amen.

Thank you for caring so deeply for your parents and for your family's joy. It is a tender thing to watch the two people who gave you life struggle, and to want wholeness for them.

We are praying with you for their marriage. One thing we have seen over and over is that marriages breathe again when each person feels safe enough to open their heart again. When safety grows, kindness and affection can return naturally, without forcing it. We cannot create that safety for them, but God can work in both of their hearts as you keep lifting them up.

A gentle next step that often helps in your place is to keep your role as their child, not their counselor. You can love and honor both of them, refuse to carry messages or take sides, and offer brief, sincere encouragement when you see something good. And keep bringing them by name to Jesus in quiet, steady prayer rather than trying to monitor every change.

Father, we lift this family to You. You know these parents intimately and You see the history they share. We ask You to guard their hearts, soften what has grown hard, and help their home become a safer, kinder place. Give their child wisdom and peace as they love them and trust You with what only You can do. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request for prayer for your parents marriage and for your family and its joy has been heard and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace.

We pray that the Lord will look upon your parents and strengthen that which He Himself ordained, for marriage is not a mere contract of convenience but a covenant union, cemented by mutual love, wherein two are made one. We ask that He who says, I am married unto you, would teach them to love as Christ loves His Church, in choice and constancy and tender affection, and that He would keep them faithful to the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman as He designed it from the beginning.

We pray also for your whole family, that you may know that peculiar joy which belongs to those who walk in truth. It is written, I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. No parents can truly know this joy unless they themselves are walking in truth, and that truth is Christ Himself, for there is salvation in no other. We ask that each heart in your household may be drawn to simply cling to His cross, bringing nothing in the hands but trusting in His blood alone, and that so walking, you may walk together.

And for joy, we pray that God would give you not the fleeting mirth of the world, but the joy which is the fruit of the Spirit from the root of trust in God. If joy has been broken or dimmed, we pray with penitent David, Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation, that the bones which He has broken may rejoice. That which comes by the gate of importunate prayer comes into the house with music. Therefore continue in earnest prayer for those you love, expecting a harvest, for they that sow in prayer shall yet joy before Him according to the joy in harvest when prayer is answered.

May the Lord give you back gladness, make your home to be a place where His truth is learned and lived, and cause your family to sing with quiet confidence in His keeping. We ask that He would restore, establish and knit your hearts together in His love, and that your joy may be full in Him.

We commit your parents, your family and your joy to our gracious Father, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for your parents marriage and for your family and its joy is heard with thankfulness, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord.

We pray that God will strengthen the bond of your parents marriage. Scripture teaches that marriage is a bond ordained by God, honorable and pure, given to preserve holiness and to be lived out in chasteness and faithfulness. It is to be adorned not with excess but with gravity, order and reverence, with peace and holiness pursued together. We ask that the Lord will guard their covenant as a lifelong union of one man and one woman, keep them from all that would dissolve or corrupt it, and help them to follow peace with all and to live in faithful love with one another, so that their home may be like a sweet ointment, full of what is good and wholesome.

We also pray for your whole family and for true joy. Not every rejoicing is good, but the joy that comes from God is profitable and spiritual, full of cheerfulness and hope. We ask that God will grant your family that kind of joy, a steady gladness rooted in faith in Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation. May He comfort every heart, knit you together as members of one body, and make your home a place where virtue takes root and good branches shoot forth to the blessing of children and generations to come.

Father, we lift this family to You. Keep this marriage in Your care, let husband and wife dwell together in love and fidelity, grant them peace, holiness and unity, and fill their household with Your consolation and lasting joy. Lead each one to walk closely with Christ and to find refreshment in Your goodness. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
