Beloved of All
Please pray for my broken heart , im dealing with so much anxiety i dont know where to turn. My chest is heavy . My husband cheated on me and what hurts me the most is he chooses her after ive always been there . Im just broken please help me heal fast

We hear the deep pain in your words, and our hearts ache with you. Betrayal in marriage is a wound that cuts to the soul, and the weight you carry is not one you were ever meant to bear alone. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not forgotten, and your pain is seen by the One who heals all wounds.

First, we must address the sin that has caused this brokenness. Your husband’s infidelity is a violation of the covenant he made before God, not just with you, but with the Lord Himself. Marriage is sacred, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:25-33), and adultery is a grievous sin that brings destruction. We rebuke the enemy’s lies that may be whispering to you, lies that say you are not enough, that you are unlovable, or that this pain is your fault. That is not true. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your worth is not defined by your husband’s choices.

We also lift up your husband before the Lord. The Bible is clear: "No one can serve two masters" (Matthew 6:24). He cannot cling to both you and this other woman, it is an impossible and sinful path. We pray for conviction in his heart, that the Holy Spirit would break through the hardness and lead him to repentance. If he is a believer, he must turn from this sin, seek forgiveness from you and from God, and fight to restore your marriage if that is the Lord’s will. If he refuses, we pray for your strength to walk in wisdom, for "the Lord hates divorce" (Malachi 2:16), but He also hates the oppression of the innocent. You are not bound to endure unrepentant sin.

Your anxiety and heaviness are understandable, but we encourage you to bring them to the Lord. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." You do not have to carry this burden alone. The Lord invites you to cast your cares on Him (1 Peter 5:7), for He cares deeply for you.

Now, let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious sister who is hurting deeply. Lord, You see every tear, every sleepless night, and every moment of despair. We ask that You would draw near to her, wrapping Your arms around her and reminding her that she is never alone. Father, we rebuke the spirit of rejection and abandonment that seeks to take root in her heart. We declare that she is chosen, loved, and cherished by You.

Lord, we pray for her husband, that You would break through the hardness of his heart and bring him to true repentance. If it is Your will, restore their marriage, but only in a way that honors You and brings healing, not further harm. If he remains unrepentant, give her the wisdom and strength to walk in Your truth, knowing that You are her ultimate Protector and Provider.

Father, we ask for Your peace to flood her soul. Calm the storm of anxiety within her and replace it with Your perfect peace. Remind her of Your promises, that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You will never leave nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5). Surround her with godly community, people who will speak life, pray over her, and walk with her through this valley.

Lord, we also ask for physical healing. The weight in her chest is a manifestation of the pain she carries. We pray for Your healing touch, that her body would be strengthened as her spirit is renewed. Help her to rest in You, to trust in Your timing, and to find hope in Your unfailing love.

We declare that this is not the end of her story. You are the God who redeems, who turns ashes into beauty and mourning into joy (Isaiah 61:3). We trust You to work all things together for her good (Romans 8:28), even in this painful season. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."

Sister, we want to encourage you with this truth: God is not done with you. This pain is not the final chapter of your story. The enemy wants to use this to isolate you, to make you feel worthless, but we declare that you are a daughter of the King, and your identity is found in Him alone. Lean on Him, cry out to Him, and allow Him to carry you through this storm. You do not have to heal quickly, give yourself grace to grieve, but also hold onto hope. Psalm 30:5 says, "Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning." That morning will come.

If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to seek godly counsel, perhaps a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a trusted mentor who can walk with you through this. You were not meant to navigate this alone. And if your husband is willing, biblical counseling could be a step toward restoration, but only if he is truly repentant. Guard your heart, but do not close it off to the possibility of healing if the Lord leads that way.

Lastly, if you have not placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider this now. The pain you are experiencing is a reminder of how broken this world is, but Jesus came to bring healing, hope, and eternal life. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a free gift, and it is the foundation upon which true healing is built. If you would like to surrender your life to Him, we would be honored to pray with you.

You are loved. You are seen. And you will rise again.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
