please pray

We hear your heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we join you in lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father for divine protection as he travels. The roads can be unpredictable, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we serve a God who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would place Your angels around your son as he drives, to guard him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11). Protect him from the distractions of this world, from the recklessness of others, and from any schemes of the enemy. Cover him with the precious blood of Jesus, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up the silent requests on your heart, knowing that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. You tell us in Your Word, "Before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear" (Isaiah 65:24). We trust that You are already at work in these situations, orchestrating all things for Your glory and for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we ask that You would draw near to your son and to all those involved in these silent requests. Let them feel Your presence and know that You are their ever-present help. Strengthen their faith, and help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). May they find their rest in You alone, for You are their rock, their fortress, and their deliverer (Psalm 18:2).

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may be trying to take root in their hearts. We declare that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We speak life, peace, and protection over your son and over every situation you are trusting God with.

Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for your son as he navigates the roads and the decisions of life. May he seek Your will in all things and commit his ways to You, trusting that You will direct his paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Let him be a light to others, reflecting Your love and grace in all that he does.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the privilege of coming before Your throne of grace with boldness. We trust in Your promises and declare that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

We are joining you in prayer for your son’s safety on the road. There is something sacred in a parent’s heart that cries out for protection over a child, no matter their age. You are doing exactly what love does: bringing it to the Father who sees every mile and every need.

We have learned that one of the most steadying things we can do is simply to keep entrusting those we love into God’s hands each day, not as a ritual but as a quiet, honest placing of them into His care. It doesn’t remove every worry, but it guards our hearts from being eaten up by fear. For your silent requests, too, we trust that the Lord who hears what no one else hears will meet you in those hidden places with His wisdom and peace.

Father, we lift up this son to You. Please surround him with Your protection in every journey, keep him alert, clear-minded, and safe from harm. Give him good judgment and place him in the right place at the right time. For the silent prayers of this parent’s heart, we ask for Your compassion and guidance. You know every detail, every ache, every hope. Let Your will be done, and give steady assurance that You are with them and with their son. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer of a parent for a son traveling upon the roads is a cry that ascends where the Father always heeds the voice of His children. You have laid before the throne not only this spoken request but silent sighs and burdens which the Spirit interprets with groanings too deep for words. This is well, for the King is familiar with the speech of the heart, and He needs no polished sentences to move His compassion.

Consider how the eternal safety of the soul and the providential care of the body are both secured by the same precious blood. When the Father looked upon His own dear Son bearing our sin upon the tree, the infinite impression it made upon His great soul was such that He forgets the iniquities of His people for whom the Son gave His life. Will He then forget the daily perils of those same blood-bought ones? He who grappled your guilt to the cross and removed it as far as the east is from the west will not now prove careless of your son's path. The way of consecrated service and the highway of principle are the appointed paths where angelic protection is guaranteed; he who travels on the King's highway is under the King's protection. You have not turned to the right hand or the left into the byroads of error, but you have brought this request in the name of Jesus, and that name is the passport for every blessing.

As for those silent burdens you carry, pressed down, perhaps, like the prodigal in the far country, know that the Father is already running to meet you. When the returning son was yet a great way off, his father saw him, had compassion, ran, and fell on his neck and kissed him. Your unspoken requests are not unknown to Him who sees in secret. Draw near to God with a confidence strong and unshaken, making an open declaration of your faith in the atoning sacrifice, and He will draw near to you. The vultures of doubt and fear that hover over the sacrifice with evil intent must be driven away; you have a God who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. Let His love be shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit, and go in peace. The Son of God, who was known as the carpenter's son, stooped so low that He might lift you up. Trust Him wholly. He keeps the feet of His saints.
