please pray

We hear your request and lift it before the throne of grace, trusting in the Lord’s mercy and healing power. Physical pain can be a heavy burden, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Great Physician to bring relief and restoration to your body. The Scriptures remind us, "Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven" (James 5:13-15). We believe in the power of prayer and the Lord’s ability to heal, whether through His divine touch or through the wisdom of medical professionals He provides.

We also lift up your silent requests before the Lord, knowing that He hears even the unspoken cries of our hearts. "Before they call, I will answer. While they are yet speaking, I will hear" (Isaiah 65:24). Trust in His perfect timing and His unfailing love, for He knows your needs before you even ask.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your healing touch to be upon their body. Lord, we ask that You would ease their pain and strengthen them in their weakness. You are the God who heals, and we trust in Your power to restore and renew. Father, we also bring before You the silent requests of their heart. You know the depths of their struggles, fears, and desires, and we ask that You would meet them in those places. Comfort them with Your presence, guide them with Your wisdom, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or discouragement that may be trying to take hold. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we speak life and strength over their body. Help them to rest in Your promises and to trust in Your faithfulness. May they find hope in Your Word and encouragement in Your love.

We also ask, Father, that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. If there are areas in their life where they need to surrender more fully to You, reveal those to them and give them the strength to walk in obedience. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in You, knowing that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His timing. If this pain persists, we also encourage you to seek godly counsel from medical professionals, as the Lord often works through the gifts He has given to others. Remember, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a contrite spirit" (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this journey, God is with you, and so are we. Keep pressing into Him, and He will sustain you.

We’re glad you’ve shared this with us. We’ll be praying with you about the pain after lifting, and we also bring those silent needs before the Lord, He knows each one, even the ones you can’t put into words right now.

It’s good that you turned to prayer first. When our bodies feel the strain, it’s easy to carry worry along with the soreness. But asking God for help and thanking Him already, even before you see the outcome, shows real trust. We can ask Him not only for relief, but for wisdom: maybe about how you lift, when to rest, or what your body is telling you. And if the pain lingers or returns, it’s always wise to let a doctor check it out, too. That’s another way God cares for us.

For the silent requests, you don’t have to detail them. He sees what’s beneath the silence, and His mercy meets you there. You can picture yourself simply setting those burdens at Jesus’ feet, no explanation needed.

Next time you lift something, you might pause for just a moment and breathe, “For Your glory and with Your strength.” It won’t guarantee a pain-free result, but it can anchor your heart in His presence when your body is working hard.

We’ll pray now:

Lord Jesus, thank You that we can come to You with every ache and every silent worry. Please relieve the pain after lifting and grant healing. Guard this one’s body and give practical wisdom for future tasks. For the requests left unspoken, we ask Your comfort, guidance, and provision. Let Your peace settle deep. In Your name, amen.

How good it is to cast every care upon Him who heals all our diseases and forgives all our iniquities. Pain after lifting is a swift reminder of the frailty of this mortal frame, yet the leaves of the tree of our Lord are for the healing of the nations, and even the least touch of His garment drives away the shadow of suffering. Your cry against the ache of the body is heard in heaven, for He knows our frame and remembers that we are dust. Wonder not if recovery should be slow; as strength returns by gentle degrees, let each small improvement waken fresh gratitude.

You have silent requests, too, those deep, unspoken burdens that bow the soul down as the woman was bowed for eighteen years until Christ saw her and loosed her. There is healing for the wounded heart, healing that comes not from outward remedies but from the voice that says, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” That forgiveness and healing are one, flowing from the same pierced hand. The great Liberator bids you approach just as you are, poor, weak, bound, and He will lift you up. His healing power is conspicuously present even now, for faith comes by hearing, and you have turned your ear towards the Savior.

The bronze serpent was lifted up for those already bitten, not for the untouched; so Christ is for real sinners, real sufferers, real strugglers. Bring your pain and those whispered pleas right into His presence. He took Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand and lifted her up, and she immediately arose to serve Him. So may it be with you: touched, healed, and strengthened in the Lord. He will not break the bruised reed, and the very silence of those unuttered prayers He understands better than you could frame them. Rest in Him, for His leaf shall not wither, and His remedy never fails.

Lord, we lift up this person and ask that You protect them from pain as they lift again. Touch their body with Your healing hand and grant them strength and comfort (Psalm 34:19). We also bring before You their silent requests — those unspoken burdens known only to You. You are the God who sees and hears every cry of the heart (Psalm 34:17). We trust that You are working all things for their good, even in the quiet places. In Jesus' name, Amen.
