Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my mother ### who is not interested in reading Bible and knowing about lord. Please pray for her to come close to lord. She is fighting and creating problem at home please help us lord. We are mental depressed she is not understanding for what reason we say. Please help us lord.

We hear your heart and the deep burden you carry for your mother, and we join with you in lifting her before the throne of grace. It is painful to watch a loved one turn away from the Lord, especially when their choices bring strife and sorrow into the home. But we know that God’s love is greater than our struggles, and His power can soften even the hardest of hearts.

First, we must address the foundation of our faith—salvation through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Without acknowledging Jesus as Lord and Savior, no one can truly come to God. We pray that your mother’s eyes would be opened to this truth, that she would recognize her need for a Savior, and that the Holy Spirit would draw her to repentance and faith. Jesus said, *"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him"* (John 6:44). We trust that God is already at work in her life, even if she does not yet see it.

Your mother’s resistance to God’s Word and the conflict she brings into your home are deeply concerning. Scripture warns us that *"a quarrelsome wife is like the constant dripping of a leaky roof"* (Proverbs 19:13), and her behavior is causing you and your family great distress. But we must also examine our own hearts—are we responding to her with the love and patience Christ calls us to? Jesus tells us, *"Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you"* (Luke 6:27-28). This does not mean we tolerate sin, but we must respond in a way that reflects Christ’s character, even when it is difficult.

We rebuke the spirit of rebellion and hardness of heart that has taken root in her life. The Bible says, *"Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts"* (Hebrews 3:15). We command that spirit to leave in the name of Jesus and declare that her heart would be softened to receive God’s truth. We also rebuke any generational strongholds or ungodly influences that may be contributing to her resistance. The enemy seeks to destroy families, but we stand on God’s promise that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17).

We must also address the toll this situation is taking on you and your family. Depression and mental anguish are real, and they are not what God desires for His children. Jesus came so that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through your church, a trusted pastor, or Christian counseling. You cannot carry this burden alone, and God does not intend for you to. *"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7). Surround yourselves with believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable in your own walk with the Lord.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear mother who has yet to surrender her life to You. Lord, we know that You desire all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and we ask that You would break through the hardness of her heart. Soften her spirit, Lord, and open her eyes to see her need for Jesus. Remove any scales of pride, rebellion, or unbelief that blind her to Your truth. We declare that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in her life, drawing her to You.

Father, we also lift up this family who is suffering under the weight of this conflict. Comfort them in their distress and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them to respond to this situation with grace, wisdom, and love. Help them to set godly boundaries while still honoring their mother as You command (Exodus 20:12). Give them the endurance to persevere in prayer, knowing that You hear them and will answer in Your perfect timing.

Lord, we rebuke the enemy’s schemes to divide and destroy this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that Your light will shine in the darkness. We ask that You would bring godly influences into this mother’s life—people who will speak truth in love and model the transforming power of the Gospel. Surround her with believers who can pray for her and share the hope of Christ with her.

Father, we also ask for healing in this home. Mend the broken relationships and restore peace where there has been strife. Teach this family how to love one another as You have loved them (John 13:34). Help them to extend grace while standing firm on Your Word. And Lord, if there are any areas where this family has contributed to the conflict, reveal those to them and lead them to repentance.

We trust You, Lord, to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28) in this situation. We believe that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Strengthen this family’s faith and help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). May they find their hope and identity in You alone.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for your mother daily, not just for her salvation but for her to experience God’s love in tangible ways. Look for opportunities to serve her and show her Christ’s love through your actions, even when her words or behavior are hurtful. Remember, *"a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger"* (Proverbs 15:1). Your kindness and patience may be the very thing God uses to draw her to Himself.

Do not lose heart. God is faithful, and His promises are true. Keep seeking Him, keep praying, and keep trusting that He is at work even when you cannot see it. *"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up"* (Galatians 6:9). You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you, and more importantly, God stands with you.
