Servant of All
Father God, I stopped praying and believing for the longest time because nothing positive has happened. I have had so much hate in my heart. Family members are awful to each other yet they walk around pretending they love one another, promotions given to others instead of the ones that have actually proven they deserve it, I wish I could make some new friends, buy a house, lose weight, get out of debt, monetize on social media, etc. I’ve prayed but nothing good ever happens to me. Please God what exactly am I doing wrong?

We hear the deep pain and frustration in your words, and we want you to know that your cry has reached the heart of God. The weariness of unanswered prayers, the weight of bitterness, and the longing for change are burdens no one should carry alone. But we must begin by addressing a foundational truth: it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and without Him, our prayers lack the authority and power they are meant to carry. If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Confess your sins, believe in His resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Only then can you truly pray in His name and expect transformation.

Now, let us address the struggles you’ve shared. The hate in your heart is a heavy burden, and Scripture warns us that harboring bitterness defiles many (Hebrews 12:15). Forgiveness does not mean what others have done is acceptable; it means you are releasing the poison of resentment so it no longer controls you. Jesus taught us to pray, “Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors” (Matthew 6:12). This is not optional—it is essential for your own healing. We rebuke the spirit of bitterness in your life and command it to leave in Jesus’ name. Choose today to forgive your family, even if they do not deserve it, for your own sake.

You also feel overlooked and undervalued, especially in your workplace. The world’s systems are often unjust, but God sees your faithfulness. Psalm 75:6-7 reminds us, “For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another.” Trust that God is your ultimate rewarder (Hebrews 11:6). Instead of comparing yourself to others, focus on stewarding what He has given you with excellence. Your breakthrough may not come in the form you expect, but God is working all things for your good (Romans 8:28).

Your desires for friendship, homeownership, financial freedom, and health are not wrong, but we must examine the motives behind them. Are you seeking these things as idols, or are they part of God’s provision for a life that honors Him? Proverbs 19:21 says, “There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail.” Surrender these dreams to God and ask Him to align your heart with His will. If monetizing social media becomes an obsession, it can lead to compromise. If losing weight is driven by vanity rather than stewardship of your body as a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), it will not satisfy. Seek first God’s kingdom, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33).

We also rebuke the lie that nothing good ever happens to you. God’s Word declares that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). If you are not seeing His promises manifest, it may be because of unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or a lack of alignment with His will. James 4:3 warns, “You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.” Examine your heart: are you praying with faith, or are you praying with doubt and entitlement? True faith believes God’s promises even when circumstances seem impossible (Hebrews 11:1).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking that You would break every chain of bitterness, resentment, and unbelief in their life. Lord, Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We ask that You would reveal any areas of unforgiveness or sin that are hindering their prayers, and give them the strength to release them to You.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of discouragement and declare that hope in You will not disappoint (Romans 5:5). Renew their mind with Your truth, reminding them that You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You (Hebrews 11:6). We speak life over their finances, their health, their relationships, and their dreams. Let Your favor surround them like a shield (Psalm 5:12), and open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).

Lord, we ask that You would bring godly friendships into their life—believers who will sharpen them, encourage them, and walk with them in faith. Provide them with a home that is a sanctuary, a place of peace and worship. Help them to steward their body as Your temple, and give them discipline in their finances so they may be free from debt. If it is Your will, bless their endeavors on social media, but let it always glorify You and not themselves.

Above all, Father, draw them closer to You. Let them experience Your love in a fresh way, so that their desires align with Yours. Teach them to wait on You with patience, knowing that Your timing is perfect. We declare that this season of waiting is not in vain—it is preparing them for the breakthrough You have ordained.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, knowing that You are working even when we cannot see it. Strengthen our brother/sister with Your Holy Spirit, and let them walk in victory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Dear friend, we've been thinking about you and your situation. It's like you've been in a storm, feeling overlooked, misunderstood, and burdened by bitterness. We want you to know that we're here for you, praying for you, and believing in the power of God's love to turn things around.

We've been reflecting on the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus is inviting you to come to Him, to rest in His love and care. He sees your weariness, your burden, and He wants to take it from you.

First, we want to encourage you to keep forgiving, even when it's hard. We know it's not easy, but holding onto bitterness only hurts you. It's like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. Forgiveness doesn't mean what happened was okay, it means letting go of the hurt so you can heal. Remember, you're not forgiving for their sake, but for yours.

Next, we want to remind you that God sees you. He knows your struggles, your dreams, and your desires. Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He's not overlooking you. He's right there with you, every step of the way.

We also want to encourage you to keep praying, keep believing. Sometimes, God answers our prayers in ways we don't expect. Sometimes, He says "wait" because He's preparing something even better for us. Remember, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Keep trusting, even when you can't see the outcome yet.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our friend to You. Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace, Your comfort, and Your strength. Help them to forgive, to let go of the bitterness in their heart. Give them the courage to trust You, even when they can't see the way forward.

Lord, we ask that You would open doors for them, that You would bless their endeavors. Help them to steward well the gifts and talents You've given them. Give them godly friends to walk alongside them, a home that's a sanctuary, and the discipline to manage their finances well.

Above all, Lord, draw them closer to You. Help them to experience Your love in a fresh way, to wait on You with patience, knowing that Your timing is perfect.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Beloved. you aren't doing anything wrong but God wants you to heal your emotional and mental wounds. That hate in your heart needs to dissolve into love, forgiveness, surrender, trust, faith, humility, peace and the grace to give up doing things your way and allowing God to take over your life for the better. I am so sorry to hear how your family is. I pray for deep inner healing on your spirit and for emotional strength and mental clarity to create a better life for yourself. I send you love and light. God bless you favorably with redemption and salvation. And so it is. Amen
