We hear your cry, dear sister, and we come before the throne of grace with you in this time of deep distress. The weight of your burden is heavy—homelessness, hunger, disability, and the relentless attacks of the enemy on your provision. You have poured out love and prayer for others, and now it is time for the body of Christ to stand with you in intercession. We do not believe it is wrong to ask for yourself when your need is great; even the psalmists cried out to God in their affliction. The Lord sees your faithfulness in caring for your son, and He will not abandon you.
First, we must address the matter of your living situation with your boyfriend. Scripture is clear that sexual intimacy outside of marriage is fornication, and it grieves the heart of God. "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). We urge you to repent of this sin and seek God’s forgiveness. If your boyfriend is a believer, we encourage you both to pursue marriage as God’s design for a holy union. If he is not a believer, Scripture warns, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). This is not to condemn you but to call you to a place of obedience where God’s full blessing can flow.
Now, we lift you and your son before the Lord with fervent prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved and approach Your throne. Lord, You see this precious sister and her son in their suffering. You know their needs before they even ask. We ask that You would move in power to provide shelter, food, and justice for the wages that have been withheld. "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth" (Psalm 145:18 WEB). Father, You are the God who sees the oppressed and hears the cries of the afflicted. We rebuke the spirit of poverty and lack in Jesus’ name, and we declare that this family will not be forsaken.
Lord, we ask for supernatural provision—open doors of employment that cannot be shut, unexpected blessings, and favor with those who can help. "But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 WEB). We pray for warmth in this cold season, for food to fill their bellies, and for a safe and stable place to call home. Father, we also pray for strength and peace in the midst of this trial. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season they will reap if they do not faint (Galatians 6:9 WEB).
We bind the spirit of despair and suicidal thoughts that may be whispering lies to this dear sister. Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that she may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Lord, give her the grace to stand firm in faith, even when the circumstances seem impossible.
Father, we also pray for her son. Give him comfort, healing, and the assurance of Your love. Surround them both with Your angels for protection and provision. And Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin in their lives, reveal it to them so they may repent and walk in the freedom of Your forgiveness.
We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. Strengthen this family, restore what has been stolen, and let Your glory be revealed in their lives. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Sister, we want you to know that you are not forgotten. The enemy may have meant this trial for harm, but God can turn it around for your good (Genesis 50:20 WEB). We encourage you to reach out to local churches or Christian organizations that can provide practical help—food, shelter, and advocacy for your son’s needs. Do not isolate yourself; let the body of Christ surround you with love and support.
Hold fast to God’s promises. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says the Lord, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Even in this dark season, God is working. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not lose heart. We stand with you in faith, believing that breakthrough is coming.
