We lift you up before the Father in this time of uncertainty and concern, trusting that He is sovereign over all things—even the details of this subpoena. The Scriptures remind us in **Proverbs 21:1**, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires."* Just as God directs the hearts of those in authority, we pray He would guide the minds of those involved in this legal matter, softening hearts and opening doors for a swift and just resolution. You have done well to seek the Lord’s intervention, for it is only through the name of Jesus that we boldly approach the throne of grace, as **Hebrews 4:16** assures us: *"Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need."*
We also encourage you to rest in the promise of **Philippians 4:6-7**, which says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Anxiety can easily creep in when facing legal matters, but the Lord calls us to cast our burdens upon Him, for He cares for us (**1 Peter 5:7**). Trust that if you are required to appear, He will equip you with the words to speak, just as He promised in **Luke 12:11-12**: *"When they bring you before the synagogues, the rulers, and the authorities, don’t be anxious how or what you will answer, or what you will say; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that same hour what you must say."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking for Your divine intervention in this legal matter. Lord, You are the God of justice and mercy, and we ask that You would move in the hearts of those involved, bringing about a resolution that aligns with Your will. If it is Your desire for this subpoena to be withdrawn or modified, we pray You would make a way where there seems to be no way. Give our brother/sister peace that surpasses understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Remind them that You are their advocate and defender, and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**).
If they must appear, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, granting them wisdom, clarity, and the right words to speak. Let this situation be an opportunity for Your name to be glorified, and may it serve as a testimony of Your faithfulness. We rebuked any fear or anxiety in the name of Jesus, declaring that You are in control. Strengthen our brother/sister’s faith, and let them walk in the confidence that You are working all things together for their good (**Romans 8:28**).
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is with you. If this matter proceeds, use it as an opportunity to shine the light of Christ, speaking the truth in love and demonstrating the peace that comes from trusting in Him. Keep us updated on how the Lord moves in this situation—we are here to continue praying and supporting you.
