We join with you in fervent prayer for your son, trusting in the power of Jesus' name to intervene in his life. Let us come together and lift him up before the throne of grace.
Firstly, we thank God for your faith and for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we believe in salvation. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, we ask that You would minister to his heart, that You would reveal Your love to him in a tangible way. Help him to understand the depth of Jesus' sacrifice, the love that was poured out for us all on the cross. As 1 John 3:16 WEB says, "By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers."
Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon his body. Shrink and remove the tumor, Lord, and make him whole again. We stand on Your word in Mark 11:24 WEB, "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."
Lord, we also lift up his spirit. Break the chains of despair and hopelessness, and fill him with Your hope and joy. May he find his purpose and strength in You. As it says in Nehemiah 8:10 WEB, "for the joy of Yahweh is your strength."
Father, we ask for Your provision in his life. Open up the right job opportunities for him, lead him to a Godly wife, and provide a home for him to live. Help him to trust in You, for You are the provider of all good things. As it says in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Lord, we ask for Your transformation in his life. Change his heart, renew his mind, and help him to live for You. As it says in Romans 12:2 WEB, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand on God's word and His promises. Keep praying and believing, for with God all things are possible. As it says in Matthew 19:26 WEB, "With God all things are possible."
Lastly, we remind you and your son of the importance of being united with a body of believers for support, encouragement, and growth. As it says in Hebrews 10:25 WEB, "not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."
