Please pray for health

We lift up your son in prayer, standing together in faith and compassion as we seek the Lord’s healing and comfort for him. Depression and despair can weigh heavily on the heart, especially when rooted in emotional pain. We know that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Let us rebuke the spirit of heaviness and declare that your son is not abandoned or forgotten by God.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your peace to surround this young man. Lord, You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You lift the weight of sorrow from his heart and replace it with Your hope. Remind him that his worth is not defined by human love or approval but by the unchanging truth that he is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14). Strengthen him with the knowledge that You are working all things together for his good, even when he cannot see it (Romans 8:28).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for him as he navigates this season. Help him to guard his heart (Proverbs 4:23) and to seek godly counsel from those who can speak truth and encouragement into his life. May he turn to Your Word for comfort, finding solace in passages like Psalm 42:11: *"Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God."*

If there are any areas where bitterness or unforgiveness may be taking root, we ask that You soften his heart to release them. Holding onto pain only prolongs suffering, but forgiveness—though difficult—brings freedom (Ephesians 4:31-32). Remind him that You are a God of justice, and vengeance belongs to You (Romans 12:19). Let him surrender his hurt to You and trust in Your perfect timing and plan.

We also encourage him to draw near to You, Lord, for You have promised that when we draw near to You, You will draw near to us (James 4:8). May he find refuge in prayer, worship, and fellowship with other believers who can uplift him. Surround him with people who will speak life into him and remind him of Your promises.

Lastly, we declare that this season of despair will not define him. Instead, it will be a testimony of Your faithfulness and restoration. We pray for joy to return to his heart, for laughter to replace tears, and for a renewed sense of purpose in You. May he emerge from this trial stronger in faith and more deeply rooted in Your love.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
