We understand that you're seeking prayer for a land dispute, and we're here to intercede with you. However, we want to remind you that our true battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
Firstly, we notice that Jesus Christ or His Name was not mentioned. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In fact, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12: Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
We pray that the Lord would work in the hearts of the defendants, convicting them of the truth and bringing them to repentance if there is any wrongdoing. We pray that the Lord would guide the legal process and that His will would be done in this situation. We ask that God would bring resolution to this dispute and that He would have His way in the outcome.
We also pray for you, that the Lord would give you peace and patience throughout this process. That you would trust in Him and His sovereignty, knowing that He is in control of all things. Remember the words of Psalm 27:14 WEB: Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.
However, we must remember that Jesus says in Matthew 22:37-40; WEB Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. A second likewise is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments. We must be led by love, love for our enemies, and forgiveness. Regardless of who is wrong, anger and vengefulness will not bring forth the righteousness of God. It is a mistake to think that God will not vindicate. He will work and we are to forgive.
Finally, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and wisdom throughout this process. Surround yourself with believers who can support and pray with you. We are also told in Romans 13:1-3 to be subject to the higher powers such as our governments. These powers are ordained by God. Whosoever therefore resists the power, resists the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil.
We are praying for you and trust that the Lord will work in this situation.
