We hear your heart, and we stand with you before the Lord, lifting up each of these needs in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. First, we want to affirm that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is His name that brings salvation, protection, and provision. "For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We are so grateful you included His name in your request, for it is through Him that we can boldly approach God’s throne of grace.
Father God, we come before You now, lifting up this dear one who is seeking Your protection and guidance. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You surround them with Your angels, shielding them from harm, fear, and any schemes of the enemy. Provide them with a new home that is safe, stable, and filled with Your peace, a place where they can rest in Your presence and grow in Your purpose for their life. Open doors that no man can shut, and lead them to a dwelling that reflects Your goodness and provision (Psalm 31:8). We trust You, Lord, to go before them and make their path straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also pray for the legal matter of the divorce. Heavenly Father, we ask that You grant wisdom to the courts and that this process would be resolved justly and swiftly. You are a God of justice, and we trust You to bring clarity and resolution in accordance with Your will (Proverbs 2:8-9). If there are any lingering burdens of guilt, shame, or unforgiveness tied to this season, we ask that You would heal those wounds and set this one free to walk in the newness of life You have promised (Isaiah 43:18-19).

Your Word tells us that You hate divorce (Malachi 2:16), but You also promise to heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We pray for Your comfort and guidance as they navigate this transition, and we ask that You would prepare them for the future You have planned, one that honors You in every way.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would draw this one closer to You during this time. May they seek Your face daily, find their identity in Christ, and walk in the fullness of the life You’ve called them to. Surround them with godly community, wise counsel, and opportunities to serve and grow in their faith. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust You to complete the good work You’ve begun in their life (Philippians 1:6).

The Lord will shelter you and open doors no man can shut, for He has charged His angels to keep you in all your ways.
Concerning your divorce, let it be settled according to truth and righteousness, and may you have a conscience void of offence toward God and man. But, oh, let nothing move you from the open confession of your faith; to show your colors is half the battle, and holding fast your profession will be a shield to you in this trial. Grapple the truths of God to you as with hooks of steel, for if you wander into error you cannot expect Divine protection.
As for your guitar, it is a talent to be stewarded for the Lord’s glory. Press forward to know it better, that you may make melody in your heart to the Lord. You ask prayer for protection, a new home, a swift divorce, mastery of your guitar, and employment. Let us first take care how we hear. It is easy to ask for many things and yet bear nothing away that endures. Consider therefore what you truly need, not merely what you presently desire.
As for your divorce: the Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant, and what God has joined together, let no one separate. I do not know the circumstances of your parting, but I would be unfaithful if I prayed for a thing simply because it was asked, without examining whether it accords with God’s will. If there has been no grave sin that severs the bond, then to seek a decree by default may be to seek your own will rather than the Lord’s. Yet even if your marriage has fallen, God does not cast you away; He is able, through regeneration of the Spirit, to make all things new. Let your first prayer, then, be that He would search your heart, and that you would obey Him above all, even when obedience is bitter. Honor the mother of your children if she is such, or the father of your children if it is he you are leaving, for Christ Himself gave us example of honoring family bonds even in His final moments.
For protection and a new home, we may ask boldly. You are come not to a physical mountain but to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. While He may provide a roof and walls, remember that your true shelter is under His wings. He who cares for the widows and the strangers will not neglect you if you put your trust in Him.
