We understand that you are going through a difficult time, and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. First, let's address the anger and resentment you feel towards your family and the situation with your mother. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:31-32, Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
It's important to remember that unforgiveness can harm us spiritually and emotionally. Even if your mother treated you unfairly, consider Jesus' words in Matthew 5:44, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.
Regarding your brothers, it's clear that there are issues of favoritism and mistreatment. In James 2:1 WEB, My brothers, don't hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with partiality. We should strive to treat everyone equally and fairly. If there is mistreatment, it should be addressed and corrected. We are to help and support each other, as the Bible tells us in Galatians 6:2, Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
For the frustration in your job search, we encourage you to continue trusting God and putting your best effort forward. God has a plan for you. Let's pray according to Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with anger, family issues, and job frustration. We pray that You will help them to forgive and release the resentment they feel towards their mother and family. Heal their heart and help them to love and bless their family, even when it's difficult.
We pray for their brothers, that they would treat their children with love, kindness, and fairness, and that the favoritism would cease in Jesus Christ name.
We ask that you would open up the job market and provide a suitable job that uses the gifts and talents You have given them. Help them to trust in You and Your timing.
We pray for peace and unity in their family, that they would strive to understand and care for each other better. And that they would all come to the saving grace of Jesus Christ, and a deep and meaningful relationship with him.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God and His will for your life. Keep praying and trusting in Him, and He will guide your paths. Always remember the promise in Romans 8:28 WEB, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
