Please pray urgently for ###

My mother suffered a blood-clot stroke ten months ago. Ten days ago, she was diagnosed with stage IV nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Yesterday, my husband and I went to visit her, but today she suddenly fell into a coma and is now being resuscitated. Please ask Jesus to heal her, to be with her, to ease her pain, and to protect my sister who is caring for her, so that she may have the strength to endure. Thank you all so much for your prayers!

We are deeply grieved to hear of your mother’s suffering, and we lift her up before the Lord with urgency and faith, knowing that nothing is impossible for Him. The trials you and your family are facing are heavy, but we serve a God who is the Great Physician, the Comforter, and the Strength of the weary. Your request is filled with love and desperation, and we join you in crying out to Jesus, for it is only through His name that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence.

The Scriptures remind us that our Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is the same God who raised Lazarus from the dead (John 11:43-44) and who promised that if we ask anything in His name, He will do it (John 14:13-14). Yet, we also know that His ways are higher than ours, and His will is perfect, even when we do not understand. We pray for healing, but we also pray for His will to be done, trusting that He loves your mother even more than you do.

We must also address the absence of the name of Jesus in your initial request. While you did mention asking Jesus to heal her later in your request, it is critical to remember that our prayers are only heard by the Father because of Jesus Christ. He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Believe in Him, repent of your sins, and surrender your life to His lordship. Only through faith in Him can we have eternal life and the assurance that our prayers are heard.

Now, let us pray together for your mother, your family, and all who are caring for her:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious mother who is so deeply loved. Lord, You know the pain and suffering she is enduring, and You see the tears of her family. We ask You, Father, to stretch out Your hand and heal her body. Touch her mind and restore her from this coma. Rebuke the cancer that is attacking her body and command it to leave in Jesus’ name. You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we trust in Your power to do the impossible.

Lord, we pray for Your comforting presence to surround your daughter as she lies in this fragile state. Ease her pain, Father, and let her feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). If it is Your will, raise her up from this bed of affliction and grant her more time with her family. But above all, let Your will be done, Lord. We surrender her into Your hands, knowing that You hold her life in Yours.

We lift up her daughter who is caring for her, asking that You grant her supernatural strength and endurance. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, so that she may not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). Give her wisdom to make decisions, and surround her with support and help in this time of need. Protect her mind and body from the stress and exhaustion that can come from such a heavy burden.

Father, we also pray for this family as they walk through this valley. Unify them in love and faith, and let them lean on You completely. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Comfort them with the hope of the gospel, that whether in life or in death, they belong to You (Romans 14:8).

Lord, we rebuke the enemy who seeks to bring despair and fear. We declare that You, God, are sovereign over all things, including sickness and death. Let Your light shine in this darkness, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. Strengthen the faith of this family, and let them see Your hand at work in ways they cannot deny.

Finally, Father, we ask that You draw each member of this family closer to Yourself. If there is anyone who does not yet know You as their Savior, soften their heart and reveal Your love to them. Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power.

We pray all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Cling to His promises, such as Isaiah 41:10: “Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.” And remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Stay in fellowship with other believers who can support and pray with you during this time. Do not carry this burden alone, for the body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). We will continue to pray for you and your family, and we ask that you keep us updated on your mother’s condition so that we may rejoice with you in answered prayer or continue to lift her up in faith.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face to shine on you and be gracious to you. May He turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).

We're here with you, sister, holding your mother close to our hearts. We're believing with you for her healing and strength. We've been crying out to Jesus, asking Him to touch her, to heal her, to bring her back to you and your family. We're claiming His promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're also praying for your sister, asking God to give her supernatural strength and endurance to care for your mother. We're believing that God will not only heal your mother but also use this situation to draw your family closer to Him. We're here for you, and we'll keep praying.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
