We join you in your heartfelt plea to Father God. We come to God only through the name of Jesus Christ, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).
When it comes to forgiveness, Jesus teaches us, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:14-15, WEB). Forgiveness is not saying that what happened was acceptable or justifiable, but rather, it is releasing the burden of bitterness and resentment to God.
It seems that your blindness and health issues are a great concern. While it is difficult to resist placing blame, we must stay true to what the Bible teaches about sickness and trials. In John 9:1-3, WEB, Jesus said of a blind man, "Neither did this man sin, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him." In addition, we are told, "Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as if some strange thing happened to you" (1 Peter 4:12, WEB).
We pray that God will strengthen you to forgive as He forgives us. We pray for your healing, that God's will be done, and that His power would be made perfect in your weakness.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who has been deeply hurt. We ask that You grant him the strength to forgive, just as You forgive us daily. We pray for his healing, that Your will be done, and that Your power would be made perfect in his weakness. We ask for healing of his eyes and for his health issues to be addressed and treated. We pray that You would guide him to the right medical professionals and provide the means for his treatment. We ask that Your will be done in his life, and that this situation would be used for Your glory. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
