We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who heals all our diseases. It is written in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Your suffering is not unseen by Him, and we ask for His healing touch to be upon you, restoring your breath, easing your headaches, and calming the anxiety that weighs on your heart. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
Yet we must also address something of great importance—your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all prayers must be offered to reach the Father. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for He alone holds the power to heal, restore, and grant eternal life. Believe in Him, repent of your sins, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10).
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for this beloved one who is suffering. You know their body, their pain, and their fears—nothing is hidden from You. We ask for Your healing hand to move mightily in their life. Rebuke every sickness, every spirit of infirmity, and every attack of anxiety that seeks to steal their peace. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who is our Comforter, and let them experience the wholeness that only You can provide. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and if they do not yet know You as their Savior, we pray that this trial would draw them to the foot of the cross, where mercy and grace abound. May they place their trust in Jesus alone, for He is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
We also pray for wisdom—if there are medical steps they should take, guide them to the right care and provide for their needs. Surround them with believers who can pray over them and speak life into their situation (James 5:14-15). Let them feel Your presence, Lord, and know that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
We rebuke every work of the enemy in their life, for Jesus has already triumphed over sickness and death. By His stripes, we *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise now. Let this be a testimony of Your goodness and power, Father. We thank You in advance for the healing You are bringing, and we give You all the glory. In the precious and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
