It is good that you have invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can boldly approach the throne of grace. As Scripture declares, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). Our confidence is in Christ alone, who intercedes for us and has already secured the victory through His precious blood.
We pray that the Lord would move mightily in this situation, opening the way for your dental expenses to be covered through the benefits you have sought. *"But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). We claim this promise over your circumstances, asking that the Lord would provide not just sufficiently, but abundantly, so that His name may be glorified. At the same time, we encourage you to examine your own heart in this matter. While it is right to pray boldly and claim the promises of God, we must also submit our requests with humility, trusting in His will above our own desires. *"This is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us"* (1 John 5:14, WEB). Let us not demand of the Lord as though He were obligated to us, but rather approach Him with reverence, knowing that His ways are higher than ours. *"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 55:8, WEB).
We also take this moment to remind you that our ultimate hope is not in financial provision or earthly comfort, but in Christ alone. If the Lord chooses to provide for your dental needs in a different way—or if He allows this trial to persist for a season—may your faith remain steadfast. *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB). Trust that He is working even in this, shaping you into the image of His Son.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister and their urgent need. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and nothing is too difficult for You.
