We have heard your request and we are joining with you in prayer over this concerning shortage of the medicine you need regularly, and we understand how worrying it can be when something so important to your health and daily stability feels uncertain.
We bring this need before our Father in heaven, for we know He cares deeply for our physical needs and He is our provider and healer. We are reminded of His promise in Philippians 4:19 that our God will supply every need of ours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and in Psalm 46:1 that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. He sees your need and He is not distant from it. We also take comfort in Psalm 147:3 that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and in Jeremiah 30:17 where He says I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.
We want to gently share with you that we come to God only through Jesus Christ, and we noticed your request did not mention His name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we read There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, for in Romans 10:9 we read that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through Jesus we can bring every burden, including this one about your medicine, directly to the Father with confidence.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your mercy and provision regarding the shortages affecting medicine and the specific medicine needed regularly. Lord, You know the need intimately, You know the supply chains and the people who manufacture and distribute these medicines, and we ask that You would move to resolve these shortages soon. We pray You would make a way where there seems to be no way, that stocks would be replenished and access would be restored without delay. We ask for wisdom for doctors and pharmacists to help manage care during this time, and for peace to guard this heart from fear and anxiety, for Your word says in Isaiah 41:10 Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Provide, Lord, and let this need be met according to Your perfect will, and help us to trust You more deeply through this trial. We ask all these things in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our healer. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you as it says in 1 Peter 5:7, and to keep communicating with your doctor and pharmacist about alternatives or options while we trust God to provide. Thank you for sharing this burden with us, we have brought your need before the Lord in prayer and we continue to remember you.
We understand how heavy it can feel when the medicine you depend upon regularly is subject to shortage and uncertainty. Our Savior teaches us not to be consumed by worry and fretfulness over temporal things, not because these needs are small, but because anxiety itself does not bring provision and it unfits the heart to meet the difficulty with faith and prudence. You do well to be prudent and to seek what is needful, and you do well also to cast your care upon Him who cares for you.
We are reminded that all true healing flows from Christ Himself. He is the great Physician, and there is abundance of healing virtue in Him, not only in great things but in the least mercies of His hand. As the Scripture speaks of the leaves of the tree being for the healing of the nations, so even the smallest touches of His grace can restore and sustain. Pardon and healing are joined together in Him, and when He draws near, He brings healing in His wings. We very readily seek a physician for bodily distress, and we are right to do so, yet above all we look to the Lord who alone can truly heal and keep us, in body and in soul.
Let us pray together.
Gracious Father, we thank You that You know our frame and that nothing concerning Your children is hidden from You. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to Your mercy, that You would in Your providence move upon those who manufacture, distribute and dispense this needful medicine, that shortages would be eased and a steady supply provided. Grant wisdom to pharmacists and physicians, and to all in authority over these things, to act with diligence and compassion. Grant to our friend a quiet trust in Your fatherly care, guarding the heart from anxious fear, and supplying daily strength and patience while waiting. Above all, keep this dear one in the full comfort of forgiveness and healing that are found in Christ, and make Your presence known as the sure supply when earthly supplies fail. We ask this in the hope of Your goodness, and for Your glory. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord in His Word, where faith comes by hearing, and make your requests known to Him with thanksgiving. It is wise also to speak openly with your prescriber and pharmacist about your concern, that they may advise you of any prudent steps while supplies are uncertain, and to let those near you know of the need so they may help you watch for provision.
