Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer about this heavy burden of racism that has been stressing you and causing you so much anger and sadness.
We have continued to bring your request before the Lord. We agree with you that killing is wrong and that God hates it, whether it is a black person harming a white person or a white person harming a black person. We share your desire that black and white people and people of all colors would love one another as God loves us, and we have been praying that God would soften hearts, stop the hating and fighting and killing, and help us all to get along and to walk away from hatred. We have also been praying for our leaders and all who are in authority that God would soften hearts to love everyone as God and Jesus love everyone, as we are called to pray in 1 Tim 2:1.
We understand how tired you feel and how deeply it hurts you when you see racist posts online that say white only or black only, and how it brings you close to crying when people talk bad about others or rejoice when someone is killed or in jail. The Lord sees your tears and your righteous anger over injustice. We take comfort that God made of one blood all nations to dwell on the earth as it says in Acts 17:26, that we are all made in His image in Gen 1:27, and that His desire is for us to love one another because love is of God as it says in 1 John 4:7.
If you have seen God answer this prayer and bring more peace to your heart or seen evidence of hearts being softened and love being shown between people of different races, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you.
