Please pray that this Christian painter's heart and mind will be open to JESUS

Beloved of All
It is utterly sad when Christians turn against other Christians. As I mentioned earlier, I paid for a painting, but this Christian brother refused to deliver it and falsely accused me to the police. Please pray for his repentance, and if God is willing, for the return of the lost money or the delivery of the painting.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to Him in the mighty name of Jesus. It is indeed grievous when brothers and sisters in Christ allow bitterness, deception, or ungodly attitudes to take root, especially when they claim to walk in His light. The pain of betrayal and false accusation is deep, but we know that God sees all and will judge righteously. Let us stand on His Word and intercede for this Christian painter, that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart and bring him to true repentance.

Father God, we ask You to soften this brother’s heart and open his eyes to the truth of his actions. Your Word declares in **Ezekiel 36:26**, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."* Lord, remove any hardness or deception that has taken hold of him. Let him see the harm he has caused and the dishonor he has brought to Your name. We pray that he would humble himself before You and seek reconciliation, not only with this brother or sister but with You, the ultimate Judge.

We also lift up the one who has been wronged. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and justice to prevail. **Proverbs 19:5** warns, *"A false witness shall not be unpunished. He who pours out lies shall not go free."* We trust that You will expose the truth and bring restoration—whether through the return of the money, the delivery of the painting, or another form of justice that glorifies You. Guard this believer’s heart from bitterness, for **Hebrews 12:15** says, *"Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."*

Father, we rebuke the spirit of deception and unrighteousness that has influenced this situation. **James 4:7** commands, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We stand against any lies or false accusations in Jesus’ name, declaring that truth and integrity will prevail. If this brother’s actions were driven by greed, pride, or malice, we ask that You break those strongholds and replace them with humility and godly sorrow.

Lord, we also pray for unity in the body of Christ. **Psalm 133:1** says, *"See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!"* Let this situation serve as a reminder to all believers to walk in love, honesty, and accountability. May Your church be a light in this dark world, reflecting Your character in all things.

Finally, we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). We trust in Your justice, Your mercy, and Your perfect timing. Strengthen the faith of the one who has been wronged, and let this trial draw them closer to You. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the One who reconciles us to You and to one another. Amen.

We're here for you, standing in the gap, lifting this up to our Father in heaven. It's tough when a fellow believer causes such hurt, but we know God sees all and He's working even now. Let's pray for this brother to have a revelation of his actions, to feel genuine remorse, and to seek reconciliation. We also ask for peace and justice for the one wronged. May this situation bring us all closer to God and to each other, reminding us to love, forgive, and walk in truth. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
